When I first seen Stone Cold, and heard the name "Steve Austin" along with it, I thought to myself, "wait a minute, ain't that the Ringmaster that used to come out with Ted Dibiase?" Lol.

I was only 9 during the 1996 Royal Rumble, when "The Ringmaster" came out I said "That looks like Stunning Steve from WCW" haha.

@@KHayes666 on some real stuff when I first seen Steve Austin come to the WWE in '96 I did not know he was the same guy from WCW at stunning Steve Austin until they mentioned he had a bracelet that he dedicated it to Brian pillman my mind was blown at the younger age

I did not know for a while that this stone cold Steve austin was the same man as stunning Steve austin. I grew up watching the wrestling on tv in the south the near. I didn't start watching the wwf until I was visiting family in New your in the 90s.

I remember Stone Cold looking built and "husky" back in the day! I would go so far as to bet my own money, that if he is doing DDPYOGA now, (which I think he is) he is ripped!

My real name is Austin my dad was a Big fan of WWF and his favorite was stone cold Steve Austin and it was Monday night raw and stone cold was doing a promo with the rock and they.had the tv on in the room and my mom and dad ever came up with a name yet then my dad said Austin. Then he said Dwayne from the rock and my dad name is Dwayne so my name is Austin Dwayne...... can't tell u my last name

His birth name was Steve Anderson but his father walked out on his mom. He took his step-dad's name which was Williams and was known as Steve Williams. When he got into wrestling, there already was a "Dr. Death" Steve Williams so the promoter (can't remember who it was) said "Who are you and where are you from?" Steve said "I'm Steve Williams from Austin, Texas" and the promoter said "Okay, you're Steve Austin."

Clyde Barrow from Bonnie & Clyde was known as "The Texas Rattlesnake". Jim Ross probably saw a Bonnie & Clyde special one day and decided to use it.
