@@StevenSiroVai1 Seriously Sir, if this is you, I cannot describe how big of a fanboy I am of you! I’m 14 right now and I can say safely that I am your biggest fan in the whole wide world. I did a school presentation on you that lasted 4 times more than anyone else’s from memory (we had to cut it short and the teacher was getting impatient lol, I only got up to your PAW years because the bell rang, but I was going to go for 40 minutes haha), “Tender Surrender” helped me to win the school talent show, and you are my favourite guitarist ever! That’s not because of your superb technical skill (which can outshred 99% of shredders, mind you), but because your music connected with me on an emotional level and captured me. My dad showed me “Fire Garden” and “For The Love Of God” before I even played guitar, cause he has good taste (he’s not a guitarist, just to show you how meaningful you are to people of all professions and levels of musical understanding). I cannot begin to describe how important your music is in my life, you inspired me to use ALL my time for practice and creativity, and to follow my dreams to be a successful professional artist like you. I base my philosophy of what music should be off of what you have said in interviews, and trust me, I’ve seen all of yours. And because of the practice you inspired me to do, I now improvise and play Jazz Fusion, and have really great chops similar to Paul Gilbert and John Petrucci, I know the people in the comments are going to deny this but it’s true. I even went through a massive phase of ripping everything you play off (yes the quick slides, legato, Lydian and everything else that is yours), so much so that I had to remove my whammy bar and tell myself not to listen to your music for a while even though I enjoy it the most, just so I could get further from the idea of copying someone who’s style is so recognisable 😅. Wow this is basically an essay, I never post long comments like these at all, but I was so excited and I hope that no one is bothered by this. Thanks for your legacy that you have left, and I wish you a long and happy life, Andrés Olan, Auckland, New Zealand (Please remember the name 😉)

Did you know that the tab book for your Story of Light album says that the Russian lyrical spoken words are Spanish? Also, can you make a video of the chord Mr. Zappa asked you to play before he said, "I heard Linda Ronstadt is looking for a guitar player."? Is it kind of like the 5 note chord during the outro of "Skyscraper" by you and David Lee Roth? Also please share your experience playing on the PIL album, including John's reaction the first time he heard your playing on "Ease". Thank you Mr. Vai.

Thanks for this video, and after watching Steve's music video I had to read the credits to answer my question, "Did Ibanez build this guitar, too?" I really appreciate the partnership they build with you, Joe Satriani, and all their guitarist customers. (I picked up an Ibanez AS73FM-TAF, a pleasant break from heavier acoustic strings, and the stock pickups are well balanced. They may have a similar design philosophy to Toyota, designing and building a balanced vehicle to transport you to new places... as AMD explains on The car Care Nut channel, "They build their vehicles with the philosophy "If it ain't broke don't fix it!") Enjoy your tour in the Pacific Northwest! (from the Spokane-Coeur d'Alene region, I have some kids moving back to the west side of WA. Thank you all!)
