Pain has a way of sucking us deep into a void, especially when the identity we have about ourselves is tied to the names we have given ourselves which got lost . Our identity is more than our different positions and titles. Our identity is how God calls us and sees us. I am a son, divinity manifested.

Amen and AMEN! "Our identity is how God calls us and sees us." If only the world understood this, we would have billions of people filled with the audacity of saints. Thank you for putting it so well, Stella. I'm glad you enjoyed this one!

The decision to be open about your values is missing in our society. A lot of people refuse to be transparent in that sense because they don’t want to appear needy. That was my favorite part about this

This. When I was okay with walking away, it made life (and interactions) so much better. And I agree with you: it’s tough to go against the grain, to go against peer pressure. To even go against what our parents believe to be the “right” way. That’s why we must be “as wise as serpents, and as innocent as doves” as Christ ordered His disciples. Work Dey 💙 Thank YOU for asking the question that led to this video. ✊🏾🤗

Exactly! And it’s very tough (even impossible) to be present for others if we don’t know who we are.

Also, I really appreciate the fact that you are teachable. You didn't just accept things for what they were. You found out what happened, what went wrong and how you can be better. You wanted better. You chose better. And the fact that you are so surrendered to God. What a beautiful sight! More grace special one❤❤

God made me super sensitive and introspective. I used to think it was a disadvantage. Now, I realize it’s a wonderful gift. I can learn from everything- if I allow myself to reflect and meditate in a somewhat “neutral” manner. I think we’re all capable of this as humans, and it’s a skill we can pray for and develop. I’m still learning daily and I pray this video will guide someone to look at things in their life from a different perspective.

Very very true. If you don't know what you want, start by knowing what you don't want. From there your vision will become clearer🙌

You know, if someone had told me I'd be sharing this story now, I would have laughed them out of the door. Yet, here I am, aware of the pain I had to go through to get here, and grateful for the lessons I got on the way. God has a way of transforming every single thing that happens into a good thing. Everythign truly happens for good (Romans 8:28). When we choose to love God and walk according to His purpose, there's no such thing as a "bad" thing anymore. I can't begin to imagine the pain of saints and matyrs at their death. So, if all we get to pay is a little tears and embarassment for messing up? Sign me up! You are fearfully and wonderfully made. And I know that your testimony will show that over and over. Just continue to lean on Him and walk the path before you. It is well.

When people don’t understand the need for intimacy with God, this could be a good reference. When we go into a genuine relationship with Christ, the Holy Spirit becomes Who He was sent to be - our helper & teacher amongst others. Thank you for availing yourself and I pray you keep growing more in God.

Thank you so much for this prayer - it is mine as well. The Holy Spirit is rich and overflowing. I just want to be able to do my own part to the best of my ability while growing, learning and staying obedient. "Narrow is the path", we all know. It's such a wonderful time to know and follow Jesus. I don't intend to ever go back. For it is worst to know Him and fail Him than to never have known Him.

When I was in the middle of the darkest times, I thought I'd never find love again. But when I stopped trying and decided to follow the one who loved us first (1 John 4:19), a love I never could exist in this world found me. I'm certain that no matter how long it takes, once you turn to Him, you'll find the kind of love a human can never give and on the way, you might just find a human to represent a portion of that. Be blessed, Sharon. You got this!

I love that it sounds counterintuitive but it isn't really. It's just the reality of kingdom culture. "Stop searching for what you want, and started giving time to Jesus, more intimacy with the Father and in the process, you'll ignite a powerful relationship with yourself and you will find and attract the best of the best without struggle or doubt."
