Thank you this insight, as regard the research proposal, i didn't see anypart required for research proposal. Or is it to be submitted after the application. For the essays, do i have to write up to the word limits or i can stop at a word limit below like 1000words or 1500words. Pls i need clarification, thank you 🙏

hi, for the research proposal, is it? if no any requirements in your case then may be dont need to. for the essays, the limit is the upper limit. so I guess you can do so. For me I always make it close to the limit. Not wasting the chance to 'appeal' and also good sign to show your effort. just my opinion tho

Thanks Emha Bayu for this wonderful work. I got a lot of questions for you. Does it mean Professors have a say in the selection process or budget for the students they will supervise? Do you have friends who did not do their masters first but got SINGA award to pursue PHD? Did you get your airfare grant before admission day? After contacting 3 potential supervisors are there some who did not get back to you?

Hi, thanks for watching. I dont know exactly what happened behind the door, but it seems that professors opinion are strongly affect the selection process. Yes, I have friends who did not do their masters but got SINGA for PhD. The airfare grant was reimbursed after you are here, so you have to pay it first. Fortunately all the potential supervisors I contacted replied my emails. good luck there!

Thanks for making this video. Anyway I have a question. you mentioned that you did not need the GRE in the application process. However, when I checked on the NTU school requirements, it does state that the required GRE is 319+ overall. This means that if we apply through SINGA portal directly, the GRE is not mandatory, is it? Thanks!

Hi. Yes at the time of SINGA application, GRE is not mandatory. but good if you have it

So I want to ask you that I you joined with professor fund, How much tuition fee you have to pay. Otherwise you no need to pay Tuition fee like other scholarships. Please help me. Hi! the tuition fee you have to pay will be the regular tuition fee I guess (you can find it in Univ's web (?))
