Love the range/practice sessions…any new tips for the range are great. If you ever get a chance to do a video on aimpoint or ways to read putts that’d be great because I’m all over the gaff at the moment 😂 #TeamSwig

Unless you have the time to make golf your full time job like Gaz and have the money to plough into coaching, you might be slower at improving than Gary lol.

For me I’ve just this year managed to get into a GCQuad sim room to practice And just that vs the uk traditional driving range It almost a quantum leap. The level of accuracy you can practice to is game changing. I’ll probably make more gains this year than the previous 3 years from that one addition

How? It helps when you don't have to go to work for 8 hours each day and your work is actually golf lol. I play off 10, I play 5% of what Gaz plays, it is what it is. When I played for two years and played every day during covid times, I got to 10 fast from never having hit a ball. Practice makes perfect. Since then, I had to go back to work and it just isn't going to get better unless I get back to it this summer and we get the weather so I can play after work or even before it. If I do that, I will probably get lower. Winter hits, my course closes and I don't play enough. It takes work regardless though but lets not act like endless time and money sank into it isn't the reason for the improvement.

  • @Mattswiggolf

Yes I agree more time, money and practise will of course allow you to become a better player faster. I would like to add though, some of these drills he shares can be used to improve your game even if you’re playing once a week. Also, it isn’t always about improving, it’s about enjoying 😅
