5:48 Random guy: "Charge!" Sam: "We're not charging, listen to the fucking officer" Random guy: "Chaaarge!" Sam: "Don't yell charge, we're forming up in a nice orderly-" Random guy: "Chaaaaaarge!!!" I like this game and its community already

Deathbrewer yeah but the point is that the musket wasn’t accurate and normally couldn’t hit past 60 yards, so even if it’s true in game, the point is that it was like taking a stone, trying to chuck it 100 Yards and saying “how’d I miss?” when the stone doesn’t hit the target

Compared to NW they are ALOT more accurate (almost 2/3rds more accurate), also theres a sweet spot for aiming at long range that if you know it can get you some pretty good long range kills if rngesus is on your side and all your men listen to your aiming orders. My reg can usually pick off 1-2 people in a line out to around 100+ meters most volleys.

Easily one of the best communities I've seen in a long time. I just bought this game after seeing Node play and within the first 5 minutes I was having the greatest time because of all the people around me. So many people roleplay and just work together even when death is all around you. If you're the kind of person who can put competitiveness on the back burner and just play for fun, this game is insanely good. Literally the first game I joined 10 seconds in there was a commander yelling at everyone to get into formation so 20-30 of us lined up and started walking in formation and then 10 seconds later a cannon took out the commander and the guy standing right next to me said in voice chat "fuck this I have a family" and turn around and ran haha. But this guy playing the drums was like "Never fear the enemy men! Make them fear us!" and we all charged in and it turned into this long firefight trying to storm the walls. 10/10

Thank you guys so much for showing me this game. I bought it after watching this video and it is seriously the most fun I've had in a long time. The community in this game is hilarious. Everyone works together and has the funniest conversations and it just leads to the greatest moments in gaming. I had one guy carrying a flag yelling at everyone "Follow me men! We need to take C!" so like 25 people got into a line and followed him and then 10 seconds later a cannon just nailed the flag bearer and the guy standing right next to me was like "Maaybe not" and turn around and ran and the entire line just fell apart from people deserting and screaming in voice chat about just wanting to make it home without dying before the war ends. Definitely one of the best gaming experiences I've had in a long time.

oof This game is a remake of the roblox blood and iron game, I know this because I even knew at first glance that your green jackets were riflemen because they had no bayonets attached to their gun, and that the bayonet wasn’t a problem for real life riflemen, but is instead taken off in game as a form of balancing for the high range of the rifle. That and a slow as fuck reload.

It is, though it depend on the group because some officers think they're Napoleon incarnate and end up getting everybody kill due to miscommunication. Also, if played right, nothing could beat a group with formation than other group who also use formation, but played wrong, and you get 3 riflemen and some musketmen killing the entire brigade.

Mr Bork the actual idea is to be close enough to clearly and easily see their face, aim for the chest, and hope. The main effectiveness of the gun is that even though it was inaccurate, if you got in big lines and shot each other, the guns would miss the guy in front and hit a guy to the side instead.

The reason for the inaccuracy with a musket is that the round is too small for the barrel so the musket ball bounces around the barrel and continues that pattern out out the firearm, which created the need for a large formation of muskets to facilitate the the potential of hiring a target through the sheer amount of rounds. A rifle such as the baker had a ball closer to the barrel size and rifling in the barrel which created the possibility of individual fire but due to the unavailability of large amounts, rifles were only used by specific rifle regiments in the British army, the French had voltiguers and other similar units but I'm not well versed in the subject of the French army during that time.

The green uniforms are for the Chosen Men, a highly trained rifleman who needed to reload and fire 3 volly's in under a minute to even be considered. They were the ones that went on all of the toughest missions.

The only reason that these weapons worked in the war of 1812 was because of how many soldiers were grouped together. So basically if you went to war as a reinforcement in the middle of the war, you would still die. Deployed near the end of the war, like within a year of the end, you might live. That's the explanation for the amount of times you died and why you couldn't hit shit.
