John was able to get Devons arm opened up in the first round, he couldn’t do that to Denis who was a skinny version of what he is now. So I‘m really on the fence here.

True. But Devon back then was giving up his arm sometimes in the first round in order to drain his opponents. Also Devon is much stronger now than when he pulled John. John has said this himself on multiple podcasts and quite emphatically. He seems blown away by how much stronger Devon has gotten in such a short amount of time.

Devon's insane pronator muscle probably contributed to his bicep injury against Levan. If his wrist had cracked back it would have relieved a ton of pressure on his bicep during the pin that injured him.

Dennis vs Levan is the true match!

Denis has ridiculous cup, Devon has everything.

For people saying denis is 70% of his prime , u dont know anything about armwrestling, Denis is not 70% of his prime form , he's more like 90-100% , armwrestling isnt just about lifting weights , its also a lot to do with static power technique , denis now for sure is a better technician and he has more static power and leans more to hand control, while he was in his prime ofc he had more power in terms of curls and basic lifts and side pressure , but now he is stronger in critical points of the match,now he is a lot more efficient , just like the difference between 2008 devon and nowadays devon , devon was strong in basic lifts in 2008 and he was doing stuff he couldnt do later on his carrier , but now he improved a lot on technique and most importantly static power ! And thats why denis now is a lot closer to his prime in terms of armwrestling .

Devon has been active and constantly getting stronger, Denis came back from health problems, he is no longer peak shape at all, his monster side pressure is gone, even though he 6-0 john, you can tell he had to put work in to get Johns pronation 2. That was Devon’s weak arm, at the time Devon was recovering from elbow surgery on the left hand and begged the organizers to do righty but they refused, to be fair I believe Denis would’ve still beat Devon that day either hand. 3. Devon has been taking everything, more steroids, more stem cells, etc. To say he isn’t at least 25-30% stronger than his 2019 self is a understatement 4. Denis literally can’t cup in, his massive fingers are a disadvantage, he has poor containment compared to levan and others. To beat Devon you need a monster cup to beat his kings move, also massive rise for leverage, take levan for example, he took a high grip againts Devon, used his massive hand and insane cup to blast through the kings move, Denis with his low grip it is simply impossible. 5. Denis wants to beat him through endurance but from the outside which Devon has infinite endurance outside essentially, the only way Denis can win, is if he forces a hook and drives straight through Devon. Which requires monsterous cup and finger strength

He lost to Denis because Denis was the superior man that day, not just endurance in strength and containment, he had Johns hand contained like very few were ever able to do in his entire career, John's hand wrist has been the biggest weapon of his which struck fear in everyone, even today. Nobody but one or two have been able to completely contain it in history, Denis is one of those rare few, which is an unreal thing to do. That too coming out of a near 5 yr layoff
