Sadly, songs that carry such power are not made anymore. I listen to "gospel songs" these days and can't tell they are about Jesus. Perfect vocals, perfect videos and perfect outfits but they still sound empty. Songs like this never get old.

My Grandson of 23 had his homegoing almost a year ago. As I listen to this song and others, it makes me think of him when he was younger. Lord, I miss him so much. I can't stop the tears from falling. Jesus hold me closely.

this is another song that ministers to my spirit ALOT. I am 16 and I am also saved .. I was baptized in the name of jesus . people say young people are to young to be saved but I say not at all. I think about how deeply I need my God everyday because he has changed my life around I am a willing vessel. I was told by many preachers that im anointed gifted and different. I just had a real depressing prayer. Lately I've been feeling like God deceived me into believing something was something when in fact it was nothing. At least this is what I was led to believe. God has been rather silent in the matter and it feels like I'm being ignored. I'm at a point where I'm angry with him because I feel like he's been playing with my heart or better put "playing games." Anyway, these words you wrote seem to pertain a lot to what I'm either having trouble doing or have believed since forever until just recently. I'm not losing faith, but I am losing trust.

You absolutely right. Jesus didn't look at skin color he loved everyone and he continues to love EVERYONE to this day. I'm color blind. I love everyone because Jesus told me that's the right thing to do. Love the ones who hate you. My faith in a God isn't that strong but I remember waking up in the morning at Baltimore Teen Challenge a Christian drug rehabilitation program. the brothers had this song playing down stairs and the sound made it into the dream I was having. in the dream I was driving down this desert road and this song was in the background it was such a simple dream but I've never forgotten it and how free I felt as I drove down the desert highway. It was a really rough time for me because my girlfriend had died of a heroin overdose a month before I miss her soo much and if I could have one thing it would be to see her face again.
