Celtic Worship is a collective of some of Scotland’s most talented folk musicians who craft worship from a unique standpoint, blending traditional and contemporary Christian music with the sounds of their native roots. Initially coming together as a one-off band for an event in 2017, Celtic Worship have since become established trailblazers in the Celtic Christian sphere; revisiting old hymnal treasures and writing new Scottish ecclesiastical music marked by the sound of their cultural and historical context. The band is composed of musicians from many different backgrounds and styles, including Steph Macleod, Mhairi Marwick, Scott Wood, Gus Stirrat, Naomi Stirrat, Ifedade Thomas and Chris Amer. The amalgamation of these distinct musical personalities and range of genres crowned with the unifying love of God makes up the standout sound marked by fellowship revealed in Celtic Worship’s expression. Their mission is to combine their artistry as professional musicians with their deep love of Jesus and passion for sharing it through meaningful music. Celtic Worship have grown in the worship sphere far beyond their land, touring Scandinavia and reaching much of Europe with their rustic and complex sonority infused with the powerful sound of bagpipes, whistles, and fiddle.

Lyrics
How deep the Father's love for us
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the Chosen One
Bring many sons to glory
Behold the Man upon a cross
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished
I will not boast in anything
No gifts no power no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom
Why should I gain from His reward
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom
How deep the Father's love for us
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure

    Father I pray for whoever comes across this message. Lord I pray that you fill them with your love, and that they know even during the most difficult situations, you are with them. Father remind them please that if you are with them, who can be against them, and that no weapons formed against them shall prosper. I pray that you and your family remain happy and healthy, and that you grow in your relationship with Christ each and every single day. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

    @@janw2569 Don't be: it is an add for a false church, preacher and worship team, so-called, and the person is a LIAR! I will bet, that she/he has lost no one, but their technique exactly is to lure people in to feel sympathy with them with whatever sob story. Many of these hidden adds also use many conflicting sob stories. It simply is a filthy dishonest way of placing adds on this platform, and always leading to hideous false churches!

    Sir, I'm from NAGALAND. I'm really thankful to the American missionaries who liberated this head hunting land, where bloodshed was the culture through head hunting. It's already a century and counting for some parts of Nagaland who were converted into Christianity, and some of us are chasing the century score taking shelter in the living God. If it wasn't these Angeles send by God, this land might have been full of bloodshed and human skulls. I wonder if God has forgiven for the sins my ancestors did, ofcourse I'm a sinner in a way too. I'm sure God is watching the changes we take while we live here for a short while. Nagaland for Christ has been the motto, liberated by the CROSS against the blood stained Machete. Thanks be to God.

    I have been sick lately and weak. I was very low in spirit today and couldn't shake it off. It felt like the weight of the world was on my shoulders for the immense evil that has strangled and destroyed peoples lives and especially the innocent children who have had so much horrific evil done to them. I prayed, spent time in The Word, bound Satan, resisted him, and yet the low spirit persisted. I finally was able to get a hold of my daughter and she prayed with me and gave me great words of love and encouragment. She told me to find some good gospel music and focus on that rather than all the bad news AND GUESS WHAT....This is the first one I clicked on. I soooooooo needed this right now, today, February 9th 2024 and I call it as God's beautiful blessing to me to remind me how much HE, Almighty God, loves me. Thank you my wonderful, amazing father.

    My ancestors fled Scotland 400 years ago to come to America. It is an amazing story of love. They came across on a ship actually called the "True Love". For the next 7 generations they were pastors in what became the United States after a scuffle and hubbub. Your music strikes to my very soul, takes me back to my roots, it touches me like no other. Jesus is my Hero, like no other, all human heroes combined do not come close. Thank you for your powerful witness and worship.

    @@adelekeadebimpeatinuke2184Thank you. There were two brothers. Both were mercenaries who chose poorly and fought on the wrong side of a Scottish clan war. My ancestor went to France, stole bread and was sent to a French New Guinea prison. The other brother went to the UK and organized pilgrims, purchased a ship called the True Love, sprang his brother and went to the colonies. The rest is history. Yeah, cool story. Scottish mercenary blood still runs through my veins though it has thinned out a bit!

    Your ancestors probably would role in their grave, if they knew, what an ungodly place Scotland and UK has become today. Heck, let's say all of Western Europe really! The reigning religion here now is ATHEISM, sprinkled with Hollywood and other entertainments succesful promotion of New Age occultism and outright witchcraft! I have lived in Scotland many years ago, mostly in Hotel jobs in the highlands, and I sure did not meet many Christians, if any at all. The favorite church nowadays seems to be the local pub. This is also, why this band was such a shocking revelation to me: Almost two decades after having lived in that place for over 3 years, I have met the first Scottish brethren now, though it be only on this platform.

    As a woman who grew up without a loving Dad at home, but knew her Earthly Dad walked out before she was born; trusting in a God that the word relates to as a Father was hard to believe in let alone trust in. Praise the Lord that I understand and believe now! He has given me 2 loving Father in laws who have taken me into their family and their hearts, and told me on my wedding day that I was their daughter now! I have also been blessed with 3 loving men who consider me a daughter as well. I am so blessed, grateful and thankful for these men. Our own pastor at our church has told my husband that he thinks of me as a daughter. Years after he said that; I now feel that in my heart as well! Praise the Lord! Thank you Jesus!     2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one. Lamentations 3:22-23 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. 2 Timothy 2:11-13 The saying is trustworthy, for:
If we have died with him, we will also live with him;
if we endure, we will also reign with him;
if we deny him, he also will deny us;
if we are faithless, he remains faithful-
for he cannot deny himself. Psalm 36:5 Your steadfast love, O LORD, extends to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the clouds. James 4:11 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

This is a beautiful reminder of 1 Co. 6:20, "...you are not your own; you were bought at a price; therefore honor God with your body."

    How deep the Father’s love for us, How vast beyond all measure, That He should give His only Son To make a wretch His treasure. How great the pain of searing loss - The Father turns His face away, As wounds which mar the Chosen One Bring many sons to glory. Behold the man upon a cross, My sin upon His shoulders; Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice Call out among the scoffers. It was my sin that held Him there Until it was accomplished; His dying breath has brought me life - I know that it is finished. I will not boast in anything, No gifts, no power, no wisdom; But I will boast in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection. Why should I gain from His reward? I cannot give an answer; But this I know with all my heart - His wounds have paid my ransom.(2) How deep the Father’s love for us, How vast beyond all measure, That He should give His only Son To make a wretch His treasure.

And all though this life will bring trials, tribulations, and sorrow that each storm we face is a blessing to bring us closer to you. And no matter what, it's not more than I can bare and by my Faith, I know you are leading and guiding me towards a reward at the end, to live and worship you forever. Amen😇 Bring Deliverance Lord!!!
