Hi Dana! Thank you for your story. I understand drinking to "numb out." I'm at the same place where I'm drinking often, but not at the point of losing everything. I'm sure a lot of us drink because we don't want to see what's going on in our lives. When you stop drinking, you're forced to face your issues. When I stop drinking, I take a look at my life and just want to start drinking again. Wow, it took some courage to say that! How did you persevere through stopping drinking and then having to take a clear look at everything?

Why so negative. He’s just letting her speak and asking a few short questions, he doesn’t need to talk more. It’s her interview after all. I doubt he’s drinking alcohol.
