Welcome to Oskarshamn... 🙂
He checks the boxes of some really rare and valuable traits, most notably great hand-eye coordination. And his weaknesses like not great skating, poor vision and passing under pressure, are things you can improve on quite easily with coaching and experience. Will be interesting to see how he'll look in the NHL in a couple of years.

More like slower skater, but not bad. In Slovakia he was training his legs speed and explosiveness since end of u18 Worlds. I would like to see him play again to see how much he improved.

His skating technique is pretty good, and vision and passing under pressure is incredibly hard to improve
@bajjanitor

@@AlbertLivingstone "His skating technique is pretty good" Yeah, looking more closely at it it's probably not a technical issue. It might just be a lack of strength that makes him uncomfortable to extend his stride and makes him comparatively slow, which is not what you'd think for a 6'1" kid weighing 200lbs @ 8% body fat. "vision and passing under pressure is incredibly hard to improve" I completely disagree. That's a thing that extremely often comes naturally with experience. Like how people become much safer drivers are driving for a few years, you learn to filter out the irrelevant things and everything just appear much calmer to you.
I like this format where you don’t just stick to one game to show what a player is capable of. It’s helpful seeing footage from multiple games.

That's precisely why I have a feeling that Yzerman could draft him.. with him and Kasper the C corp would be loaded for the future thanks for the insight the only channel that gave Dvorsky the credit he pretty deserves easily

Reminiscent of Barkov in some ways, particularly his skating and hands

I´m still a little salty for not letting Dvorsky play in Worlds for men. He wanted to play to improve his draft stock, he could score some, get some points and be up there with Fantilli and Carlsson. Habs fans would hyperventilate even more.

He wasn’t very good at U20s, no reason to call him up to a men’s tournament

@@Mcbikey24 If you judge him based on score. But if you compare him to other players on the team Slovakia there was no excuse not to let him play. The argument they had was that they want fresh rested players.
He seems so good at keeping his momentum and using his body and hands while doing it, but theres just not enough speed for him to make that nhl deadly
@ViliamGajdos

Dvorsky has been playing in Sweden for ages and they prioritize skating skills (Finish league obviously too) so I doubt Dvorsky is under average skater. His style is just not fully based on fast skating.

They are comparing him to Lindholm and Bo Horvat, I'd snuck in that one ridiculous Monahan season too. I think his prime COULD be 30+ goals 70+ points and a very good two way player, valuable in playoffs.

Selke is a bit much, but 70 pts seems like his high ceiling. I think it's more likely he's a 60-65 pts guy if all goes well while being good defensively.

When played against players his age he was 2 PPG on average, even led Slovakia with almost same numbers without being surrounded by other 1st round prospects..
