I think this is why Doncic got undervalued during the draft. People just look for speed and blow-bys, and tall guards don't need that explosion to be effective. Props to Russell and whoever else is helping him develop his game.

Actually not so much height. What you need is elite ball handles, court iq and jumper if you're not Wall or Westbrook athletic. That's what dLo and Doncic have. Steve Nash had the same and was short and slower in comparison but he still killed with it. James Harden has all those attributes as well and dLo is a baby version of him

I've watched a ton of these videos and what I've learned more than anything is that NBA defenders are incredible. Most of the dribble moves in these videos just create tiny windows of space. NBA scorers just need so much less room to score. So in summary... NBA players are unreal good

the thing with Dlo is in ohio state we knew he was nice... it was a matter of getting that consistent jumpshot down and I mean this year is rather a big improvement in that area which is helping

I think it's more than that. I'm starting to think the Lakers suck at player development, like I can't believe they are still letting Ball shoot that awful medieval catapult of a shot and haven't fixed his free throw form. I don't think it's a coincidence that Russel only tinkered with his release after he went to the Nets.

Blame Magic for falling for the media trap by allowing Lavar Ball to convince him to take his son. Lonzo may turn out to be a good player but they already had a developing PG with and upside. Russell did mess up by outing Nick Young tho. So who knows if he could stay in LA.🤷🏾‍♂️

Russell videotaped Nick Young talking about cheating on his fiance and leaked it to the press. Kobe had a taped confession leaked to the public by law enforcement. Russell dropped dime on Young to a gossip site on purpose. If you don't understand the difference between the two situations than you need help.

Didn't have to trade him anyway. 1. Could've waited another season. 2. Could've traded Ingram instead. 3. Could've packaged Clarkson and a draft pick. There were literally hundreds of cheaper ways to unload Mozgov. Nets got rid of him for two 2nd round picks
