How curiosity paved the way to self-learning | Ray Wu | TEDxYouth@GrandviewHeights
Curiosity is what keeps us growing, inventing, and discovering for the future. It is what leads to exploration and learning. In this talk, Ray talks about the benefits of being curious and shares three tips on how to introduce curiosity into our lives. Ray is a 4th grader who enjoys reading and playing with the Rubik’s cube. In his spare time, he likes to draw and research things on the internet. Ray was very inspired by the selfless dedication of frontline health workers during the pandemic and would like to give back by being an epidemiologist in the future. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

"The future belongs to those who are curious."- This is inspiring! 💖
10:54 Indeed, We Learn more by looking for answers to questions than learning by answers itself.

Exactly! ❤✨
What a great presentation! My research found curiosity is inhibited by four things. Fear, assumptions, technology, and environment. Glad to see Ray spreading the word about curiosity.

It certainly inspired me!
Totalmente de acuerdo. Nos hemos flojos y confiados. Definitivamente la curiosidad amplia más nuestros conocimientos.

I wish I was half as smart as this kid! He is going places and I’m here for it!!
So smart!!! Congratulations!
In two weeks. My school will hold a function of ‘my big day’ i basically talk about anything. Because i chose curiosity. This was extremely helpful. Continue making better things, you’ll change the world!
If he can do all this at 9, i can't imagine what he can do when he's older!
This guy is so inspiring
Very insightful!
to understand this at such as young age, what a clever child!
I wish I had the confidence of this young fellow. Keep growing mentally young man.
Marvelously articulate and self-confident. I wonder how he'd be regarded by a group of regular boys his age.

AGE A- Asking G- Go Beyond E- be Excited
👏👏👏
he smart and adorable
Clap for the guy come on!!! Or was this in a covid situation
I totally agree - but how does this young man (age ?) speak so clearly so long?
The first serious question I ask as a child is how I got here and the second was what am I going to do. In old age the obvious question is how can I keep it going when there is 100% chance it will stop soon....I feel very confident that a lifetime of searching has satisfied me in Knowing that Jesus Christ is the answer.

Can't disagree with you on that one
Watch out, curiosity killed the cat... Self learning is just learning. Learning for someone else is teaching. Curiosity is basic human nature. Enough said.
he think he will be clapped 😐😐
