    I like the fact you take ur time writing a song, you obviously have the talent to scream/sing to anything how fast you want but to create a masterpiece takes time and patience and that is why every song spiritbox has released this year is amazing.

    This is awesome. It takes guts to be vulnerable enough to let people into this process. She just does it so willingly and unashamedly. This is affirming for me and my vocal writing process personally, but I’m sure there are others out there who have watched this who are empowered and affirmed by this as well.

    I love how she's just so genuine and not embarrassed by the process by which she does things. I've never seen this before and always wondered how this whole process of putting a song together goes. I'm sure it's different with other bands. They do what works for them. This is just cool to see. I feel like I'm in the band. 🤘🏻

    I can't even describe how awesome this was to see someone in their creational (yeah it's not a word I know) element. You'd be so damn vulnerable and exposed doing all that kinda thing on camera.     I'm so glad you recorded your side of that Courtney! Very cool piece. Now I more fully understand how you and Michael write so well together. Definitely an interesting way to write, by humming a tune and finding appropriate lyrics afterwards.

    Yes , yes it is.. but take the patience spiritbox has with creating songs and apply it to waiting for the songs :) I CANNOT WAIT either but im okay with waiting because once it comes out I'm gonna play every single song until I find the favorites and then the favorites until I find that one that grew on me , and then the singles again until the album fades out. It happens to me with all music. Something like that at least

    Seeing the process was awesome. I really enjoyed that. I think seeing videos like this could really help people who might feel something blocking them from writing music.     It’s awesome to see how artist write their songs. I love that Metallica does this which the last few albums. But this takes it a step further and shows the vocal aspects from step 1. Super helpful for someone that may get discouraged or swamp with starting a task like this.

    That's usually how I start my songs too! I literally freestyle gibberish, and then suddenly a word or phrase will make itself known, and that's when all the other pieces start to fit, and I can really start thinking about concepts and how to build around those corner stones I've found. Really cool to see Courtney do the same thing. She's so good!

You could have gotten that from my comment specifically talking about "Michael" Stringer... Her husband, and the guitarist and music writer of Spiritbox. He always throws in a badass guitar breakdown in their tracks. Since Courtney herself has stated in a few interviews she doesn't know how to do guttural sounds. During her process of writing the lyrics for this song, she got kinda close and said "oh, that sounds cool". Hence my comment of keep working on it, that would go good with Michael's breakdowns.

    @@ZepyhrLight No worries, sorry just seemed like you were being trollish. Also, not quite. Courtney has some nice lows in "Holy Roller" but no gutturals. In Ryo's version he adds one or two. Courtney says she's never been able to do them. Up until a month ago she thought she still had vocal chord injuries caused from not screaming properly when she started touring with IWABO. Now that she got the green light from her Otolaryngologist that they have FULLY HEALED, I'm hoping she fells comfortable enough to experiment and add to her already amazing vocal repertoire. Judging by her new live recordings for XM's liquid metal virtual concert ( videos yet to be publicly released so watch for them, its amazing!), she may be doing just that! They sounds so friggin good, just when I thought she couldn't sound any better they drop these easter eggs in their Patreon!
