Nah, the "françafrique" is long gone, nowadays France's influence is tiny compared to China, the russian Wagner mercenaries or even the USA in most ex-french colonies in Africa. I don't know about the asian ones though. And of course the Guyane and a couple of islands are considered as France like Hawaii is the US.
