"Big Challenges for Science" is a series of lectures arranged by The Black Hole. Designed for high school and above audiences, these lectures are delivered by Pakistan’s acclaimed nuclear physicist Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy.
“How Constant are the Constants of Nature?” is one of the lectures of this series. It will be a 45-60-minute presentation followed by an interactive Q&A with the audience.

The set of questions asked by the attending students shows that there is tremendous interest in fundamental science (and no I did not say technology - sure, a lot of people are interested in and use technology, but the fundamental science is what generates technology). Their knowledge was also very impressive and insightful. Dr. Hoodbhoy, thanks for encouraging this. I hope Pakistan understands this is what is needed for success in the modern world. I will even venture to say that the lack of scientific outlook IS the cause of issues Pakistan is going thru at the moment.
Hood bhoy sahib is doing what govt should have been doing. He is spreading scientific ideas in most comprehensive and easy to understand for common people. He deserve highest laurels for his efforts.
