Because they had a large following, then fired the hosts and fucked up the format everyone loved. First one since that happened to show up in my feed again, so I'm about to give it another chance as this has mainly positive comments again. EDIT: ...forgot to edit right away. Thanks for stating its was good again, brought me back to give it a chance. Glad I did. You're right, it's as good as ever again. Different format, but it's good again.

Inconsistency, I’d assume. They keep switching hosts(I think this video in particular has a voiceover from the Ahoy dude) and they keep interrupting the video with that random thing with the channel name. I’m guessing that lowers audience retention. Otherwise the editing looks solid and the videos are super high quality so it’s probably because of KZread’s weird algorithm

I think you wish that were true. But things got this bad because of generations of criminal families taking more and more control while other people just go with it to be nice. But when people treat you like a slave instead of an equal you can’t be nice or you will end up subjugated. When billionaires are treated equally to the homeless we will have a healthier world. When homeless people are given more and the billionaires are stripped of the power they stole then we will truly be equal again. But colonization has been rotting our souls more and more to find abuse of all levels normal on a spectrum. There is a spectrum to slavery and it never ended, it evolved to be what modern day slaver is today. I only learned this when I ended up in 3 slave wage jobs. I was ignorant because I grew up a millionaire that was kept ignorant to how women in my family are slaves in denial. Generations of masons and Nazis in the family seem to be the source of this toxicity and I realize that brainwashing impacted me and led to me being a slave to money just like them. But being a mixed race person I didn’t have the same privileges as my pure white family. They have a completely different life just like I have an easier life than my relatives that don’t pass for white to many people. Times never changed, our minds have just been far more manipulated over time so we think things are different than they really are. If the MKULTRA people were held accountable like you say then the world would be a vastly different place but they instead rule the world and are behind the issues plaguing us today. They do not understand heathy boundaries and are the most toxic people I have ever met. Ruling class people are horrific which is why they don’t hang out with others unless they are their slave. They are so insecure they need domination to feel ok and do not feel ok being an equal. If more people wake up and choose reality over the delusions that make us feel better then we can be healthier. When I lied to myself and created a delusion because I wished my cousin wasn’t grooming and raping me I was less safe. Waking up to reality that he was trying to coerce me into marriage is how I got to be truly safer. Pretending it wasn’t happening just made me easy prey. I hope you learn from that and choose reality over what feels better to you now. I hope you evolve to empower yourself and be a part of making this world healthier for us all instead of clinging to these delusional wishes that are a pattern of humanity going back to colonization. It is because we have lied to ourselves to feel better. I find it is superior to face the truth and change things to actually be healthier for us all instead of wishing for something that hasn’t actually existed for thousands of years. The more I learn the more delusional these statements are. Did you see what Jeffrey Epstein did and how those people are clearly still in power operating today? They are still killing people that get in their way and it harms us all. What he was doing goes back to Babylon and Moloch. If there are groups of elites willing to sacrifice to him for power then we will still have these issues until we all come together to stop them. As a survivor this shit is real and I just hope people like you see your power and use it instead of making yourself less powerful by thinking this way. We all have equal power in the laws of nature, that is why they have to work so hard to diminish others to subjugate us without our knowledge. Using the media was genius until the internet made that harder.

I remember getting hit with Chernobyl. I started messing with computers on the Commodore64. Got our first one when I was in 2nd grade and dad was.... a professional level hobbyist I guess you could say. He had to be the best at whatever he did so... we not only had the Commodore64 but shelf full of books that he bought to teach himself programming. Remember getting "Compute Gazette" magazine and they featured the latest and greatest tech news on new tech and such. It also came with a floppy disk that had various programs on it and free games and demos where the bulk of them was created by the magazine itself as a marketing gimick. It also featured a section that featured pages of code that users submitted and if it got printed in the magazine they got like $100 or something like that. Dad wrote a program that ran the joystick that was only like 1.5 printed pages long while the program that was currently being used was.... HUGE... it was multiple pages long (can't remember exactly how many but it was quite a few pages). He decides to send in the program to the magazine. It never gets published in the magazine.... Later on he noticed the file sizes of the games that came on the "free disk" were quite a bit smaller than they used to be... noticably smaller average size so he looks at the program and finds HIS joystick code being used in their games they published along with the magazine.... I mean TECHNICALLY it never got published IN the magazine... so he never got the $100 or whatever the prize was because it wasnt published in the magazine but they were using the program he submitted inside their own games they sent out with the magazine.... Anyway, after the Commodore we were late getting into the "IBM" style of PC because in his mind all the crap bought to move to THAT system would magically "go away" just like Commodore did and be forced to repeat it again and he said screw that and so we used Commodore up until like 6 months before Win95 came out. We got onto the "internet" when "Age of Empires" and Blizzard's "Diablo" was the "thing". We got hit with a few viruses and none of them were ever a "major deal" because the worst thing they ever did in the worst case scenario was force you to just reformat your hard drive and reinstall your windows and it was gone..... until.... we got this virus that magically transformed one of our systems (my computer or his... can't rember which one got it but one of our systems got hit) into a big paper weight. We got LUCKY... because this was the time when not many people actually had a computer in their home. I had been messing around with computers since the 2nd grade starting with Commodrore64 but I did not know anyone else that had a compuuter until the very end of high school and the first real "network" I ever seen was my last year of high school. The only place you could find computers in Jr High was the 2-3 Apple II's set up in the library and the 8 or so set up in the typing class where we took typing...1/2 of the "machines" were actual typewriters and the other 1/2 were Apple II. Before that you were lucky to have a Apple II sitting in the corner of your classroom covered by a dust cover that NEVER got uncovered... and in grade school the ONLY time it got uncovered was when it rained and we had inside recess. Well... by the time we got hit with the virus I had already built my own system and since we had 2 computers (mine and dads) mom got pissed off because she coud never use the phone because if you on the internet.... you tied up the phone line.... so we ended up getting a 2nd phone line, one for his computer and 1 for the "phone".... until I built my first system then.... she got REALLY pissed because now we had 2 lines and we could BOTH connect and get online at the SAME TIME! lol... she wasn't happy at all lol. But when we got hit by that virus... we were about ready to take the one that got infected and do what the video said about some that got hit.... literally throwing the machine away and replacing it..... but we got lucky because we had that 2nd machine that could get online and LOOK for a "fix". If you were like most households that even HAD a computer... that is what you had.... a computer and that 1 computer gets hit with that virus... your done. Having the ability to get online after being infected to search for a "fix" was the ONLY thing that saved it. That is when I found out this thing actually embedded itself in the computer's BIOS and the fix was not to simply reformat your HD and move on... you had to also reformat your BIOS and reinstall THAT too. So using the "good" system we finally found the "fix" and was able to actually download it and use it to flash the corrupted BIOS and get the infected one up and running again. I think it sat there for like 2-3 weeks before we finally got the damn thing wiped clean and running again. I never really remembered the name of it.... but I sure remember what the virus DID to a machine... because it was unique where pretty much all other ones you simply wipe your dive and start fresh again for the "universal fix". I remember one virus that dad infected his sytem with on purpose... There was this virus that used a nude picture of Pamela Anderson in a Email and when you opened it the virus infected your machine. Dad wanted the picture and knew what clicking on it would do so he backed up anything on his drive he wanted to save and he got the picture... and the virus. Soon as he got the picture he saved it on disk and formatted his HD right then. First thing he did when he got windows reinstalled was set Pam Anderson as his desktop background picture lol. All it cost him was a little of his time to reinstall windows lol. In my senior year in high school I noticed "Programming" class being offered. I mentioned the first "network" I ever seen was last year of high school.. This was when the "IBM" style of PC (the modular system that we still use today) started to go mainstream. Since dad not only had the Commodore but the mountain of books he got for it... I got into programming a little and wrote my first program that was more than just telling it to print a line of text you tell it to print and such when I was in 4th or 5th grade. It wasn't anything big or to complex, just a simple "chat bot" where you could "talk" to the Commodore. It wasn't like the the "chat bot" that you think about today or anything... it was just a scripted conversation with the computer that the computer started with you to start it off... Like Hi I'm Commodore. What's your name? or something similar that started it and from there using if/then statements and goto statements you could talk to it. Well... I seen that programming class in high school and I thought I was going to learn how to program on these new style of computers.... but when I get into the class on the first day.... I find out it is BASIC.... the exact language the Commodore used... I ended being bored the entire class and usually ended up helping the other people who were having a hard time with it.... I remember the first program I turned into the teacher. Next day he asked me "What are these numbers?" I told him they were my line numbers... He was like WTF? They haven't used those in YEARS! I still got an A because the program worked and did exactly what it was written to do. But the look on his face when I told him what those "numbers" were in my program was PRICELESS! lol.

Back in dos days you could just edit some 'run at boot' files to ECHO anything you wanted on the screen in a loop instead of continuing the boot. Only flashing would fix this. You could automate this by setting a floppy as the boot medium, thus running the .BAT from the floppy and crippling that machine.

Unless I'm seriously misunderstanding, this isn't really true. (1) If you have an autoexec.bat that's stuck in a loop, it should be easy to just boot from a good floppy (or _another_ one, if you were already doing so) and edit/delete the file. Alternatively, if the boot medium is a floppy, use another PC to fix it. (2) Why would being configured to boot from floppy, or having a bootable floppy (not sure which you mean), cripple a computer just because the autoexec.bat on that disk doesn't terminate? Unlike a virus or other infectious malware, such a problem would be limited to the medium on which it exists, so again, you could just boot from something else, or just _not have a floppy inserted,_ right? And if you can reconfigure the BIOS to boot from floppy, you should just as easily be able to change it back. Definitely no flashing of anything (the BIOS?) would be necessary. Perhaps you can clarify what you mean.

Great video, but I just wanted to make a point. Unix can be considered an operating system in a sense but more specifically it is kernel. For example, macOS is an operating system but it's built on the Unix kernel, Windows is an operating system but it's built on the NT kernel, Ubuntu is an operating system but it's built on the linux kernel, etc. Also, you have to be careful saying Unix caused Linux. This isn't false but it gives an idea that they're bassed on the same architecture. Unix was very stable and oriented towards professionals, but many versions required a license. So, Linus Torvalds created Linux which was inspired by Unix, but is a seperate kernel completely that was license free.

Hi I probably also had Chernobyl virus at that time.😢 But couldn't save the bios knew best then that I could reflash it. But that was not possible, damnnnn luckily I could find someone who did purchasing at large dealer in computer parts. He sent me a new bios chip with the latest version for nothing to my local computer store. Where coincidentally another friend worked didn't understand a package from our main dealer with your name on it and no price. They laughed when I told them I was the boss and it was a friend of mine.

Information dose is probably good quality as usually, however downgrading from high quality production to mere automatic readout is somewhat disappointing. I understand, that using hosts - and particularly high quality ones you used to use - is expensive… I understand, that overal economic situation is less than optimal for spending on high-quality production… Still, it's disappointing degradation and maybe it would be better to create less frequent high-production videos, than allow creation of this "amateur-level production" video, that I struggle to watch till the end…

For a supposedly educated bunch of people creating researching and distributing this video. How on God's green earth can you pronounce so many English words incorrectly? Indictment is not in-dik-ment @16:52 Demerit is not de-mu-ret @19:10 Come on guys simple English, has no one in post-production picked up on the mispronunciations of these words? Seriously come on. This is not the first video from this channel with mispronounced words the other guy 'Bradley' is it?, he gets several wrong too. You know if you feel its wrong when you say it, so why not check online it's not rocket science. Otherwise good channel and videos.
