The ideas, suggestions, views, experiences are MY OWN and are not meant to replace medical advice. Be smart and you do YOUR cancer journey.
In this video, I share the story of how the colon cancer was found in the first place.

Which stage?
This happened to my 38 year old sister. Blood in stool for one year. Finally went in. Got a colonoscopy...came out of anesthesia and the Doctor said the exact same thing to her. "I've done this enough. I know what cancer looks like. " Tears. Just like you. She didn't care for the doctor and requested a different one for surgery to remove the mass. He was wonderful. Also. She DID NOT HAVE CANCER. She went ONE WHOLE WEEK THINKING SHE HAD CANCER. She was just wanting to find out after the surgery if it had spread. She didn't even have cancer. She had PRE CANCEROUS CELLS IN THAT MASS. She didn't have cancer tho. Just unbelievable.

I was wondering if this was possible because I have a mass in rectum a large one biopsy show not malignant but the surgery will remove it and I'm hoping it isn't cancer. But they said it still could be won't know until it's out and completely tested. Praying surgery goes good and it heals me.

I wonder if you could perhaps put me in touch with your sister? Because something very similar happened to me (I’m pretty much her age, too). I went three weeks with a cancer diagnosis that turned out to be wrong. It’s such a unique experience and I’d love to talk to someone who experienced the same.
You are fantastic, brave, and I am so glad you decided to come out and say all those uncomfortable things. Do you realize how many lives you've saved? May God bless you.
Oh Jen…I’m 75 and had a positive colorguard and then last week got my FIRST colonoscopy last Tuesday..They found five polyps three small two larger…I’m scared BUT I know God has me…..just waiting for the results…God Bless you and EVERYONE dont be embarrassed get your colonoscopy…and YES God has to hit you over the head sometimes to wake you up…THANK a you for your testimony and ordeal

My Dad as well does in 2018 of Colon Cancer. He never said anything until it’s was last stage.
its honestly absolutely shocking how many of these colon cancer stories start with "i was having blood in my stool for months/years and thought nothing of it / thought it was something else (like Hemorrhoids)." its unbelievable that people dont know blood in the stool is a MASSIVE red flag that needs the eye of a doctor ASAP. Not sure where people get this idea from... if i ever had blood in my stool i'd rush off to a doctor the same day very glad to hear you got the care you needed. THese videos are SO helpful to educate people of the signs. Good job & keep it up!

At this point, after watching so many videos of colon cancer patients and survivors, I think it's mainly a combination of massive denial and the need for everything to be fine because of all the obligations one may have. But mostly denial--because you can't fulfill your obligations if you' re not around to fulfill them, and that's a difficult reality to confront.

Oh honey. I tripped across your channel. You are so sweet. I’m sorry you are going through this right now. My son (29 years old) has had bloody diarrhea for years, and he goes in for colonoscopies every few years and they cannot find anything wrong with him. He’s lost 30 to 40 pounds over the years and blood work comes back normal - something’s going on and the doctors just can’t find it.

I live in a small town in PA, and our doctors always say they cannot find something. Then when the patient goes to a large city (i.e., Philadelphia), they find the problem. Not all hospitals, clinics, or doctors are created equal. Check with your insurance and find another doctor, who possibly has more experience or access to better testing. I truly hope everything turns out well for your son.

Thanks for this, but over here in the UK we don't get put to sleep for a colonoscopy I had one, and never again, it was a barbaric experience.
It can spread to liver and lungs, but can also spread to abdominal cavity and brain unfortunately. Time is of the essence.
Thank you for sharing the honest truth that all the advertising never tells anyone. It maddens me that we constantly hear, catch cancer early for the best chance of treatment, and then no one tells us what the early signs are ? I wish every cancer patient would share this part of their story.

Who doesn't tell their doctor about blood in their stool? That is total denial we are supposed to be our own best advocate.
The recommendation is now 45 in the USA. Colon cancer is on the rise.
I think it strange why people are so freaked out about their butt holes. I've had several colonoscopy and a few polyps takes out.
Women beware. I had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy in Dec. 2023. Some polyps removed, orherwide nothing cancerous. In March, i was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian or peritoneal cancer. Now having painful rectal symptoms.

What really makes me feel embarrassed is not her talking about poop and butt stuff but the thought that God has given her cancer so that she gets closer to him. Not very kind. Anyhow, the point is if there's blood in one's stool, don't wait for years before seeing a doctor! Make an appointment right away!

If you will read the Bible and pray for understanding you will learn why and how God uses our adversities to help us spiritually. We as humans are very stubborn and think we are smarter than he is. If you want to understand him study what he has revealed about himself. All things work together for good to those who love and follow him. Arrogance and pride leads to our downfall.
We have to learn to talk about shit-bowl movements. People talk freely about eating which is the FIRST step to a BM. But they recoil when talking about BM's which is the LAST step of eating.

in other words, neither is worse to talk about than the other
Get to the point! Damn!
It is not this so called Lord , it is just common sense and react to your body when telling you something is wrong.
It’s a little too bad you had so much angst about using public facilities to go number two. I think sometimes parental figures can traumatize their children over this particular bodily function. Then their coping mechanism causes unforeseen repercussions.
You pretty
Losing 30-40 pounds couldn't hurt.
A god story , a bus load of children went over a cliff, a single child out of 37 children survived, 🤔 was god on vacation.🤯.
Forget embarrassment you might have died
It might be helpful to take a picture of your bowel movements. Then give it to the doctor.
You lost me as a Christian when you said “sometimes we have big health events in our lives because God wants us to get closer to Him.” (Paraphrased) 1 Peter 2:24 “ we have been healed and made whole by the stripes of Jesus.” God does not need to make us sick to get closer to Him. As Christian’s we should be doing this seeking a personal relationship with Him way before you get sick . God does not allow sickness doling cancer out like tickets to a movie. We live on an earth that man has done bad things too including tampering with foods we eat that affect even vegans. Things happen but Jesus always heals. I pray you are healed and whole. Don’t wait until you are sick to arrive for a deeper relationship with our maker. 🙏
