Clash Royale is too competitive. You can't place a card on the arena without your opponent creating a push that costs 2,000 elixir in the first second of the game.

I got fed up and uninstalled a week ago but I had been playing for months, progress is too slow and enemy bases are always too hard. The lack of a shield type function for your loot kinda sucks too sometimes I get raided 2-3 times a night, I wish it was more fun tho

It has never been better to play Clash of Clans. Every TH level is fun, Matchmaking is custom difficulty and Hero Equipment is really fun when maxed out. The Events also make the game more fun by reducing the training time by 1/3rd of the time. I think we weill have up to 3-4 Epic Hero equipment per hero and we are probably getting new heroes and equipment on TH17 and it will affect lower town halls like TH8+. The only modern issue is the E-sport scene is in shambles becaus eof the time Meta, but that seems to be the focus before TH17 at the end of the year.

Yeah same, I love the current challenge format(maybe not the leader board one but). I like how there's a bunch of stage of challenges instead of the usual one and done. I've seen people complaining about how it takes no skill at all but like it's still the 2nd lvl and I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant to be hard

Don't be fooled... you play against the same people than years ago. The newbies are ALL below TH13 and so are most returners. As TH16 i can say i don't get to see any TH12 or below. And progess gets very grindy after TH11.

on a whim i started playing again last summer and been hooked back in since. somehow some of my old clan members where still holding on, but it seems my return revamped the whole clan in to action.

The nostalgia this game has is crazy one of the best mobile games of all time

LOL im one of the players that came back, but in my case I was th11 in my main account and with all the hero things I felt that I missed so much of the game, so I decided to restart and created an account from the start. Now I'm a new th9 and I've been playing since like 1 month ago lol

one thing that they should do is begin to market the game to kids. I work with elementary schools and its crazy how pokemon is just as big as it was when i was a kid like it never skipped a beat and still has all the magic it had in my generation to the new generation growing up. They should begin to advertise the game on channels like mr beast and that sort to get a new generation of players into the game plus these kids are still into minecraft and roblox clash of clans has the same feel imo

That’s how the game grew in the first place. I’m sure I speak for many others when I say I started this game in Elementary school and I finished college last April. 23 now. To be honest, I think they are more focused on finding this new generations “Clash”. Long term progression isn’t something the younger population is interested in. In our society now, it’s all about really short and relatively simple content. You can thank TikTok for that but it’s a genuine topic of discussion for any company that’s trying to reach a younger audience. That’s why you see games like Squad Busters coming out.

Started again this January after 8 years.. old account was deleted but it's ok. It has been a nostalgic experience for me and I love it so far.

I started a new account around the time of the Halloween update and honestly it’s been really refreshing just playing again

I stopped at th9 around 2018,i came back a 2 months ago.

For Halloween a royal champion ability where the royal champ casts magic on the defenses around it to make them get transformed into your armies troops would be cool, aka the defenses don't get targeted and fire at their own base

I cane back because i saw the ad that my base is waiting for me and i got emotional, and now i sn addicted again and game is lot more fun

i just cant be bothered to spend so long waiting to upgrade stuff so i dont move past th9. the attacks are what is fun for me, not the pain of having to wait for stuff like heros just to be able to play the game!

I honestly feel like I’m a big part of this popularity thing lmao. I decided to get back into it like 5 months ago and ever since I’ve told me entire high school that they should get back into playing. Since then it’s grown to be popular everywhere. It might be coincidental but idk man

I played coc since late 2013 then I lost my account in 2016, my final th level was 11 and I quit but then I got the motivation to start over again in 2021 because my old account was rushed not too majorly but pretty rushed and because I’m starting over I won’t make that same mistake again and I used to get zero stars a lot in clans wars in my rushed account and I got kicked a lot because of my bad performance and troops so now I’m th 13 and I’m all caught up and I do much better performance in clans wars now and I’m so glad they made it easier to upgrade walls I know it’s still hard in higher th levels but walls were a nightmare to upgrade back then in my old account my walls were only level 6.

Part of it is nostalgia

Strange. For me, CoC is totally getting destroyed by SuperCell. I just upgraded 5 TH9 to max hero equipment and bammmm, the next Epic for the King - even before the Royal Champion. I am short of totally dropping this game! I simply eats wayyyy too much time!!

The issue is going to be that the game is way to slow to update and new people just don't stay long enough. The battle pass is situational at best and I'm only a town hall 10. The grind to town 16 is massive without spending more than the games worth. What about a special purchase of a full max town hall 12 for x y or z real cash so it feels like you have actually bought a new game if your new to COC

Clash of clan is in an ok spot but as long as the devs keep this level of communication with their player base like they have this game will never die

I came back to brawl stars, it started rising right after that, I came back to clash of clans after it started rising, 2 months ago I came back to clash royale, just to see the game die once and for all. How can the same company make such mistakes on one game meanwhile the other ones are rising

I definitely understand how the low difficulty of current meta have pulled so many people and they enjoy it. However, for some of us it's really horrible: - E-sports have been a race of time instead of a show of planning and execution skills. - Legend league is ridiculous, more than 90% of my defense logs are root riders spam. They're just too broken and it's hard to build base against it (if not impossible) - Best source of ores is from winning a war and lately there are too many draw result from double-perfect from both teams. 4 out of my last 10 wars are draws, obviously we got less ores. How do we suppose to upgrade the equipment properly? we can only get the stary ores from war LOL. Fun and easy mode should be for farming and casual people, it's ruining more competitive segment of this game (legend league, higher CWL and esports).
