How ChNPP Makes Drums for Liquid Radioactive Waste

One of the by-products from Chornobyl NPP work is radioactive waste. The basis of waste management infrastructure at the power plant site are two facilities: industrial complex for solid RW management and liquid radwaste treatment plant.
The main objective of these two facilities is to prepare RW for disposal. Exactly, the waste is packaged into steel drums in which it will be ultimately disposed at specially designated sites within Exclusion Zone.
ChNPP manufactures all steel drums for own needs by itself. Our video shows all steps of the process from metal sheet to the final product.

для чего был накрыт 3 энерго блок ? то есть на крыше есть бетон зачем он?

Строк служби саркофага 20-40 років, з роками, через зміну клімату і дощі його цілісність порушилася. Саме тому його накрили НБК, щоб зменшити викиди радіоактивних частинок за межі саркофагу.
