People forget that when you work it's your money not the hoods

The reasons Sosa didn’t become a main stream star are that he didn’t give a f about everything and living in his world, it is also a reason he did the music ahead of time being in absolute freedom of standards Unfortunately it also was a reason of lack of discipline (however I adore his music made off xans and lean which is so unique) He also lost a lot of music being hacked all the times. interest in what way? yes he has a contract but contracts have time limits and fullfilment requirements. as long as someone doesn't "breach contract" as its called and fulfills all the contract agreements that money is released in full and nobody can touch it. i dont know what deal he has specifically but if he was able to negotiate a good one he'd have a joint venture andget royalties off all his likeness for life. but even 6mil is enough to put in several low risk investments, park in some banks, and live off the interest.

Most artist get a 360 deal which is terrible because they have no experience with that kind of money and dealing with contracts. Thats the reason you see artist tend to have issues with their labels. There is a reason why music labels have terrible reputation of taking advantage of their artists.

they didnt flop. maybe stream wise they did, but his mixtapes and albums all have very distinct styles, and hes always experimenting. especially the projects and singles from 2013-15, those were some of his most influential work. some of his projects go unnoticed just because he doesnt even care to promote it properly, and hes independant so he doesnt got a label backing him up besides himself. if you took the time (which im guessing you did) to listen to his music, you would see that his experimentation, influence and creativity would be comparable to someone like kanye, Ye even said it himself.
