How Cashmere Is Made | The Making Of

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Cashmere is a sought-after fiber. A material known to be luxurious and delicate, cashmere stems from the cashmere goat. The underbelly of the goat is what makes cashmere garments so soft and cloud-like. We got a peek inside the Johnstons of Elgin factory to learn how cashmere is made.

the raising and harvesting of the wool is only a factor in its expense , as you can see from this video a lot more processing is needed to finish the product hence the expense. I imagine if the suppliers did hold firm they could get a better deal as this is a luxury fabric and the rich will ultimately pay.

For the last time it's Kashmir as in Jammu and Kashmir the state in India. Not Cashmere, it's an imperial spelling and nobody except Americans pronounce it as cashmere. Ask anyone from India or Pak they'll pronounce it as Kashmir.

Irony is that we Kashmiris call Kashmir "Kasheer" in Kashmiri(Koshur) language. Even word 'Kashmir' is imperial ,but moreover acceptable to everyone.

bushra arshad if you are, then work for your country, save your economy and your people. It’s sinking. Pakistan is a failed state you should use your education to make it a better place for every living being in your land which you already have instead of dreaming to acquire more. Don’t waste your time in these political propagandas of your country cz *you don’t have it* . Try before its too late. Whatever land you all have been given make that a better place than think ahead of it. And I don’t need a lesson from you to understand and know the history of my country. Good luck.
