    In USA trackers are common for tracking the kids and service stations don’t allow customers in the service area because of liability issues by the insurance companies.

    I got warranty claim from Suzuki within a week, initially they refused, later i email to CEO paksuzuki, CEO Suzuki Japan and windscreen manufacturer.

    In the United Kingdom there are consumer laws where you can take your car to any garage, workshop and as long the parts, like filters, brake pad ,oil are used that are approved by manufacturers the car companies by U.K law cannot not cancel the warranty. Kia give 7 year warranty or 100000 miles or which ever comes first ,Toyota and Hyundai give 5 year warranty or 100000 miles which ever comes first.

    I am honda bikes dealer ..in ajk district bhimber ..this is to increase the sales of parts that customer is being forced to get the oil change done by the same dealer from wher he purchased his bike or car ...in case of bikes honda has authorised service dealers..one has to maintain the service book given along the bike ...sale dealer should just check the oil change is done by authorised service centre...cars should also make such points at district level to replace the consumables ...

    I bought Swift 1.3 Deluxe. Its Android system got out of order within 1 year. The dealership refused any warranty and said that there is no warranty for electronic devices

    I am a sufferer of this warranty issue ! I bought Honda City and it had General Rubbish tyres installed in it ! I drove 28000 kms and it was 4 yrs old ! I wanted to get the tyres changed due to excessive wear and tear ! As per their dealership tyres had 35000 kms and 5 yrs warranty ! I went to the dealership for the claim ! The dealership supported me but the regional manager said that if you buy the tyres from the dealership we give you 5 yrs warranty and that too if driven adequately! But if the tyres are pre installed on honda car then they have 6 months warranty ! How rude ! I suggest people not to fall for their scam !

They r charging for new number plate s but not providing, had to buy from market till they supply, which take many month or year.

    Nice subject. Please advocate Authorities to allow at least import of 10 years old cars. At the same time, Government should not allow any car older than 20 -25 years on the roads. You know very well that quality of imported cars are much better, they are safe and cheaper. Unfortunately in Pakistan there is no quality and price control and as a result these people are distributing death certificates to the purchaser. In case this is allowed to import 10 years old cars, this means you are contributing to save lives, this will improve competition in local markets and as a result Government will be able to generate more revenue.

    Aoa I have personal experience of 3 zero meter cars course,swift, and now Honda city 2020 they never tell u warranty void features,its up to u that u say 3years or 70000 KMS I must go to 3s. And Sunil sb I have personal experience that they keep no record of two same city same company authorize 3s outlet. It's my opinion that one should go to authorize shop with in warranty period to be on safe side although it little expensive.

    In US, Auto insurance in Mandatory for every car regardless if it is new or old, you need to have minimum coverage which is around 50$ for Liability, 100$ per month for comprehensive and $125 per month if you want the full coverage which covers everything. Warranty id not void by installing tracker.

    Suzuki dealerships do not have a central database. Practically, I maintain a car through Suzuki motors rawalpindi, I had an oil change at kharian Suzuki motors one time and when asked they told me that they did not have access to the car’s history.

    I had taken delivery of 4 cars till now and Honda Dealer Multan never mentioned this that if we change Oil from somewhere else the Warranty will VOID.

    Insurance is must in uae ... cars are tested for road worthiness every year and the car can’t be driven without insurance and can’t be registered in uae ...

    Due to insurance and safety policy, they don't allowed you, different reasons, if customers go insides workshop area, if accidents happens, responsibility goes to company. That's why they don't allow you to go inside.....

    I live in Germany, another reason you cant go inside workshop that if you get any injury on site because of any reason that you aren't wearing safety gear. the company is liable to pay.

    Nice vlog. Just additional information since i have been living abroad in different countries for 15 years now. Warrant clauses, are the same everywhere. Here in GCC, if you do not have a service history with the agency, the warranty becomes void automatically. Specially, for European cars. Instead, our dealerships service charges should be reviewed and regulated. Secondly, as Sunil rightly pointed. There is no registration of vehicle without insurance in countries abroad. Driving without insurance is illegal. At minimum you must have a third party to protect the other party involved in a mishap. Thirdly, the tracker I agree with Sunil is a useless piece of kit. Installing trackers is not a practice anywhere in the world, except for third world countries maybe in Africa and south Asia. I urge the consumers to go through the warranty terms and conditions in detail and comply. Give no excuse, to the car manufacturing companies to void your warranty.

    Bought two new cars in 2014-2019 from toyota and honda, nobkdy ever told me that what factors would render the warranty as void. Not eveeven to the extent that if i wish to keep the car in warranty, i must have the routine oil changes done at 3s type dealer.

    In USA trackers are a common thing for tracking the kids. Customers are not allowed in service area because of insurance regulations and local safety regulations. Customer can get hurt and sue the company which will come out of liability insurance by insurance company.

    These issues should be resolved once for all. If customers cannot go for any change in cars other than dealers, that means you have to accept their bullshiut service standards of dealers at the cost which they think is appropriate. manufacturers have started accepting bookings .without announcing the final price, they using our money and delivering vehicles. Nobody from authorities taking any notice of such practices which are not legal rather against the rights of the consumers. Govt should make strict laws to avoid any such cases in the future when the government is giving so many facilities to the manufacturers, government should also safeguard the interests of the customers. manufacturers and Dealers all enjoying the Loot MAAR party only customers are suffering at the hands of both. Manufacturers collecting billions in advance but they cannot tell you the exact date of delivery that shows poor management and planning on the part of manufacturers, I fail to understand how they run such big units without any proper planning. Many issues need to be raised, even banker finance minister only trying to safeguard the interest of the bankers by providing them more car financing business that is more profitable and safer than the other kind of financing by banks. who else will look into this drama, trade minister is there only to tweet what has been achieved. he has been minister of many governments what are his achievements, everybody wonders, how come he becomes minister in every government. he is there because he is a businessman and a rich person looting customers. How come we can expect them to make customer-friendly policies there policies will always be for the benefit of the rich elite of Pakistan.

    The root cause of the situation is there is no regulatory framework or legislation by the government to check the unethical practices by the cartel of auto manufacturers operating successfully in the country and fleecing the customers. Ironically, they are bringing in obsolete and discontinued models and marketing them as new models in Pakistan. They are free to increase prices as per their whims and fancies and delay deliveries for months even after taking 100% advance payments from customers, whose rights are almost nonexistent and they are at the mercy of this cartel.

    Yup they don't give you a warranty of clutch and pressure plates even if your car run just 100km I took my car from the showroom and felt a problem with clutch plate they charged 18k to replace just 50km driven new car.
