I am trying to learn as much as I can about all cancer types. I am 11 and my cat recently had to be.... put out of his misery.... due to lymphoma. Thank you for this very informative video. 👍

Well, from my understanding currently, catching it sooner is step #1 to getting a solution, because cancer detection is a bit like a arms race. Say a group of bad people occasionally plant bombs in a city. The bombs have a timer inside that doesn't show the time remaining. It's probably gonna explode soon afterwards, but it might be years later before it does. To an outside observer, buildings exploding are completely random. No matter what, the quicker the bomb squad finds and deals with the problems the better. Preventing the threat from planting them in the first place is a extremely important long term goal, but for the time being, keeping the people of the city immediately safe is the answer. Similarly with cancer detection, catching it as early as possible is the best current solution, but preventing cell division errors and dangerous mutations is the long term goal. That's the way I think of it.

Now I feel little bit anxious because of cancer.

I want to learn Cancer because my grandma have a cancer and I don't know what is it
