I like when he said Africa has been covered with a canopy of dishonesty. That is so true; another one said political leaders neglect their constituencies and build empires for themselves. Sierra Leoneans are truly brilliant. One young lady talked about the lack of citizens initiatives and how everyone depends on government to create jobs. Another one stressed the lack of support from those that have gotten to the top by not supporting others that want to get there ,which is terrible. In my home, Liberia, the citizens relied on government heavily. If you ask Liberians these same questions, you will hear more about the failure of government but the youth of SL were very objective and I like that.

Creole is a mixture of Jamaican Patois , Yoruba , Temne , Mende , English , Fula and Igbo etc... Creole is taught in school as a written language pidgin English is merely slang or used in a social context. Creole is used by everyone and is spoken by 90% of the population.

6 things to get Africa started: 1)invest in education. 2) tackle corruption. 3) ensure a strong and functioning judiciary that's truly independent from any political interference. 4)invest heavily in infrastructure projects like roads, rail, airports, ports, telecommunications, etc. 5) create a business friendly environment in terms of taxation and incentives. 6) learn from other successful countries like Singapore, China, etc which manage to transition from colonial rule to the thriving economies of today.

To change Africa, we need access to capital ‘cash’ and credit for a startup business. We also need an individual responsibility of freeing themselves from mental slavery. We need war against corruption by passing death penalty for any corruption in the government. We need to have an age limit to be a president anybody older than 60 year old should be made to step down. We need to change all our law that have any connection with colonial thugs. We as Black peoples need to love ourselves more than our enemies. We need to make new laws that will protect our interests in Africa and every Black peoples around the world. We need to develop our resources by ourselves and sell the finish product to the outside world. Africa need to be one, together we’re stronger and no nation will be able to stand on our way. Stop the division among ourselves love your KINGS AND QUEEN 👑 around the world, nobody loved us or care about us as Black peoples, so we own it to ourselves to love and care for one another. Peace

Abdullahi your contributions says it all. The word ''Motivation'' is what I perceived lacking in African community today and even when we want to motivate us, We always try to use pride in delivering it which I think is wrong. In addition Africans don't like criticism which I think can help us to overcome our mistakes or become better.

The knowledge of the African youth is truly inspiring. Most know what’s going on in their country/continent, speak multiple languages and a great relationship for opposite sex. Very encouraging, the futures very bright. Great video Maya you are a visionary with your content.

That’s the anthem of West Africa the citadel of learning, the fountain of knowledge, the university which am proud of.... WODA MAYA,I do appreciate your zest of telling the story of Africa... Africa must rise again.... Political dishonesty has been a very key factor that’s killing the youth in Africa , i hope we should introduce hygiene in our politics by fighting against corrupt people who are in office with corrupt practices in other to enriching themselves..... Corruption should not be tolerated in Africa and its has to be treated holistically by holding our leaders accountable when they leaves office..... I do believe that we must rise rise again... one love Africa..... Peace Sierra Leone.....
