Good job on the guitar with Alun's version. One thing that bothered me a little about this song and several others is Cat Steven's producers were always pushed him to bring the key up which sounded more pop. Try moving the capo down to the fourth fret. It's actually much nicer. Just my opinion.

Tabs please!!! :)

This is my favorite song of all time and this is an outstanding performance of it. I imagine you will eventually work your way through all of Cat's songs and maybe begin to search for other kindred material (as I see you've already posted some non-Cat Stevens songs). You seem to enjoy deep, thoughtful music from thoughtful artists who really put their heart into the music. I would suggest Jim Croce and Nirvana (not sure if you know of them). In particular I would recommend "A Long Time Ago" by Jim Croce (my second favorite song) and "Something in the Way" by Nirvana. Also "Long, Long, Long" by George Harrison and "Fire and Rain" by James Taylor. And maybe "Heart of Gold" by Neil Young. And "Sweet Music" by Lon and Derrek van Eaton. And the Beatles had some other very thoughtful, touching songs (I've Just Seen a Face, Here There and Everywhere, etc). Oh and these are just suggestions, not commands. You're great even if you don't intend to stray too far from Cat Stevens music (he's my favorite artist too.)
