To much emphasis on sinning not enough emphasis on OVERCOMING sin. Hence the reason of so much lukewarmness and confusion. So yes Paul I agree we can’t deny the reality of the ability to sin. However like everything else in life (except our personal decision to be born) Sin is a choice. We don’t have to sin we choose to do so. Yahusha said whoever commits sin is a slave. This is choice. John said IF, IF we sin we have an advocate with Father. I’m glad you pointed out that the Father wants to, desires and commands every bit of sin to be eradicated from our hearts. This is often not stressed enough. There is more emphasis placed on churchianity doctrine of how we are all sinners and will continue to be so till we die. That’s a lie. All have sinned yes but not all are constantly and continuously sinning. If that’s the case where is the power of the spirit that Paul said delivers us from? We were saved from the penalty of sin We are being saved from the power of sin We will be saved from the presence of sin

1 John 1:7 " Walk in the light as he is in the light.....and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness...." So, we will sin even when we walk in the light, but it should not be DELIBERATELY as Hebrews talks about or as 1 John 1:6 says " If we say we have fellowship with Jesus while we WALK IN DARKNESS, WE LIE AND DO NOT LIVE ACCORDING TO THE TRUTH".... Walking in the light, walking by the Spirit, Romans 8, seeking the things above, Col 3:1 and part of that walking is to confess our sins, even in the Lord's prayer, Jesus says to ask daily that our sins are forgiven. Walking in darkness is a way of life and again you sin deliberately on a continual basis, you never confess, repent......
