How Can A Wind Turbine Work without Moving?\ GAMECHANGER

Ғылым және технология

Exploring How Can A Wind Turbine Be Motionless? Today we are diving into this new american made wind turbine that has no visible moving parts! Its not a secret that i love looking into cool new technologies. Especially when it comes to renewable energy. This not so new wind turbine by Aeromine Technologies might change the game by allowing small, and commercial buildings to tap into wind energy as well.
So far none of the previous technologies showed so much promise when it comes to options for big box stores like walmart, costo, ikea, home depot or office buildings and manufacturing facilities to tap into wind energy as supplement for their solar panel systems. This might completely change it, and I am super excited about it.
Lets dive into what it is, how it works and possible WHEN can we expect this genius wind device to become available.

We had a friend at our marina install a small wind turbine on his boat a couple of docks over. That thing was really noisy and in a blow and apparently it would disengage from generating electricity for some safety feature. That's when I decided the wind generation is not for me. My other buddy on the same dock as mine has two solar panels and he said that they easily keep his house batteries topped up. I think in many cases solar is the way to go especially if you like your neighbors. Silent wind generation? They might be standing on a gold mine if it works! Love your videos! Just found them today and am learning so much! Thank you! Your english sounds than mine, and my family roots are fom England!

Seen any certified power curve published yet? Comments in their video deactivate sounds many alarm bells. The physics of the renderings wouldn't even place the rotor blades in any meaningful angle in the flow. The flow would also largely evade the structure without even being redirected. I would be highly interested in any certified power conversion metering data.

Another great lesson Martyna! Thank you for the time and the passion you show in these videos! These energy sources are still in the ‘toddler’ years of development (moving forward…but not fast and with a lot of falling). We’ve still a lot to learn! Watching South Australia and how they’ve been integrating home solar systems and batteries into the overall grid is a great tutorial we can learn from. Small wind generators and roof solar will prove vital to our country’s energy independence and the reliability of the grid.

Thank you for sending me to this video from another of your videos. Your videos are very informative and very comprehensive. I like to invest( a.k.a. gamble at the "Wall Street Casino") on start-ups and futuristic type stocks. Your videos make me more informed, thus enabling me to make more educated choices in selecting(gambling on) a stock.I already, have for quite some time, owned stock a number if green energy companies(solar, wind, and wave) as well as in companies that employ various types of energy storage modalities. Motionless turbines, such as Aeroine's, have tweaked my thinking about their design for well over a year......... Again thanks for making me and others more knowledgeable in this area. P.S. I think people should compliment you on being able to speak more than 1 language. I thought you were born in the USA because I could not detect any accent in you speech. BTW, it is not uncommon for people born in the US to mispronounce English words. Even Donald Trump mispronounces some of his words and he was born in the US. So don't worry about such trivial things and do keep up the good work. BTW, I just now subscribed to your channel. If you like romantic music videos, you might like to watch some of mine here on KZread. BTW, a number of my music videos have the lyrics on the screen in both English and Mandarin. I am an American. As such, I speak only 1 language(LOL).

Hi Martyna, loving your videos! "...provide same amount of power as up to 16 solar panels..." What kind of panel capacity are they comparing? Also on another topic, I am very excited about this year's advancements in solar tech. I am curious about sodium ion batteries vs lifepo4, how good are Topcon pv panels, and whatever else new appears. I think solar/wind/inverter/battery tech are just in alpha-beta phase at the moment, I believe they can push way more. I think now (since last year) is just more practical in terms of price to afford and install.

@@solartimeusatrying a few methods to add to your subscribers. Hopefully if it works you will see an upward blip. In English there are so many dialects there really isn’t a right way to say anything. The BBC used to use Received Pronunciation also known as BBC English. The term received pronunciation was coined by phonetician A.J. Ellis in 1869 to refer to an accent used “all over the country, not widely differing in any particular locality…as the educated pronunciation of the metropolis, of the court, the pulpit and the bar.” The definition of received in his use of received being accepted. More recently local dialects are accepted and celebrated across all broadcasts excepting to some extent the world service. In addition there are many forms of English around what used to be the colonies (including the US) and then even more where English is a common second language. As long as people get the correct word and meaning then all pronunciation is fine.

Capturing an edge turbulence on a building typically means disturbing it. The wind will mostly likely largely evade the turbine and flow differently around the building. It is not the same as freestream flow capture and will reduce conversion efficiency. However maximum efficiency not the key aspect here. Of course, you can add a few units to better back up the solar output. Previously the CAPEX to power output ratio of any small wind turbine that is neither pitch-adjusted to flow speed nor rotated into the wind is lacking. They never make any money due to further drops in efficiency versus optimistic assumptions. Only buy if you have validated the power curve and flow speed input assumptions over an entire year of metered flow data onsite. Small turbines and innovative concepts hardly ever get to capturing 46% of flow energy like the big industrial pitch-controlled 3-blade wind mills do. Check the Huetter graph on turbines first and check physics why. Aerodynmics has many not so obvious pitfalls why flows marco and micro flows respond differently to satisfy the Betz equation. You would actually need a flow simulation with and without the turbine based on metering data of an entire year to properly place such a turbine and not have severe drops in power conversion speed, flow direction or wind speed. The building is part of the Betz equation. Placing the turbine might just make the flow go sideways instead of over the building. Rooftop installations forced by available space to be placed closely are also notorious for shielding each other. On device might have good yields but cause 3 others to perform very poorly. Also, you run a considerable risk of your neighbors miles around raising some new building and disturbing your setup. You house might simply not get the same wind patterns anymore. The field of rooftop wind installations has almost died out over the years as our understanding of wind energy grows. It's much more economical to buy wind energy from the grid. At least wait for the power curve being certified by some authority.

You said that these won’t interfere with solar and they can work together, but that is only partially true, because they would shade the solar unless there is a significant spacing. It would however be great to have a smaller system which could be used on houses, that way you could produce either more power or power 24/7. Shading over the solar by the turbine is still a problem. The other problem is residential roofing is not designed for the loads that a turbine would place on them, so something smaller that could be used in quantity would be a more economical option

So they measure the power vs the wind speed. just ask the manufacturer to provide the power versus wind speed (W/ms) profile and you can figure out if it is an interesting investment when you know the average wind speed on de location you want to use it.

Thanks for the interesting video review. It does have some ideas that are worth consideration. I especially like the idea of a "hidden" turbine / prop. My one concern is that you are discussing a product that is "not" officially released in the market. Experience has proven to me that far too many of these "inventive" ideas never actually come to fruition. My best advice would be to stick with systems that are "proven" and readily available, or if not that, then they sent you a prototype, that you can personally test for yourself. @@phillargus2757 Ideas are great. But, there are far too many companies out there producing vaporware "ideas" that are out there to convince people to invest in a system that never actually produces anything. Typically they don't show cost information either. If the company can produce working prototypes, with hard data showing performance and cost of the product, then it has much more validity. I look forward to seeing the data for this device, but one also needs to consider cost. If they want too much for a working version, it won't make economic sense.

Birds bees etc can still fly in it so it’s not safer. It’s the same vertical wind turbine if ya ask me. It’s just turned on it’s side instead of faced to the wind. There is only vertical and horizontal blades that’s it. There is no such thing as blade less. I wished marketers wouldn’t try so hard with the wording. Cause that’s all it seems to be anymore just words…..

Did you even look at the requirements? Can't be used on homes, can only be used in very specific situations. Clickbait.

I did mention the buildings the units are made for here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eHxplpeigsLQZaw.html :) Hopefully it helps.

@@solartimeusa The title says "This changes everything". So now you are saying "it only potentially changes some things, in specific instances, that are not that common", yes?

This one was too much about political bla bla bla and too little about pratical solutions.

Marlyna, please don't say turbáeen, please say turbeen. The word turbáeen is no longer used in the US. Those people are all dead because of old age. You are forgetting that wind and solar power generation are terribly unreliable. Few years back, in Texas over 200 people died from the cold when the wind "turbeen" froze due to inclement weather. At around 6:05 into your video you are showing an optimistic picture where you have the motionless wind turbine and an array of solar panels. I am sure you know that the usable sunlight to generate electricity is about 6 hrs a day on the average. And the same for wind. Worse of all is that they peak at the same time, then you have to rely in coal burning power plants. That, coupled with taxpayers subsidy, you have an expensive system that can not pay for it self. When people get fed-up with the lies that politicians been telling us, and the subsidies end, the whole system of wind turbine and solar panels will collapse.
