Humm as a inquisitive person I have to wonder how efficient well structured and pointed Quartz planted on a regular fuel rail pointed toward the injectors is at replicating this very smart & gas saving pieso effect. Again in beefing up regular injector.. I'll have to check it out. 1st time hearing of a actual fuel rail with this effect built in, amazing shit.

It's a lot of dis-assembly. Follow the service manual, which you'll need for this technology.

I was wondering if you all might have the torque specs for Bosch fuel diesal injectors, in particular the solenoid head. I made the mistake of dissassembling the solenoid head on one to give it a good cleaning, since I had to relplace the body O-ring. I have it back together but I am missing fire on my #1 cylinder. The injector spec I am looking for is Bostech # 986435128. It fits the 05 Jeep Liberty CRD 2.8. If you have book with these specs I would even consider buying it. Thanks Gary

Excellent! But I am embarrassed by the driver control in the next movie. In the description of the injector is written that you can not change the polarity .... This will lead to malfunction ... What do you mean?

All I know is my uncle has a 1996 dodge Cummins.....12 valve, mechanical injection pump, 500k miles..... Never had one problem except a pin hole in a return line which we fixed for 30.00. And a tail shaft bearing in the transmission which can be changed with the trans in the truck......it's not the most powerful but if you don't have all that power your not always fixing complicated issues and broken parts from the power.....we still towed 13k lbs weekly for our backhoe

We are negotiating to install a 500 units of PERKINS 60KVA Diesel GENSET. 1st. can I use it to a 60KVA PERKINS GENSET ? 2nd. What is expected saving once we install ? 3rd. Durability expectation ? 4th. Warranty? 5th. How long too install , from dismantling the original injector into PIEZOelectric BOSCH a single 60kva genset ? Pl's I need te answer ASAP Thanks Ismael

Can i measure the voltage of piezo injector between two terminals with multimeter? I hope this is DC and would see any where between 80 to 120 volts during off time and would aroud 40volts during on commanded time during pulse width modulation, is that right?

Yes it is DC, but you never measure injector voltage with a straight multimeter. The signal moves too fast they're useless for signal measurement. You need a digital graphing meter or an oscilloscope and yes your voltage values look just about right...

Im new to all of this but does that mean this type of injector doesnt require any sort of calibration. Say I was to replace mine (Which Im about to thats why Im researching about it) I buy a new set and install thats it?

Is it possible to refubrish this type of injectors? According to Jaguar workshop I have got air in all 6 injectors and destroyed them because of my fuel pump in fuel tank doesn’t work properly and need to replace them all.

No it is not. Not by people like us anyways. I do make and sell Piezo Injector testers, but that's it.

You cannot retrofit CRDi into a mechanical injected engine easily. Perkins already make CRDi engines in the size range you are looking at, why not buy them?
