Nomad Colossus, You sir, are a legend in my mind and heart. Congrats on getting the recognition you deserve by meeting Bluepoint. It would have been cool if you could have met Team Ico (I know about the complications surrounding that but one can dream). You deserve more for all your hard work and great vids. Please keep ‘me m coming and should you ever decide to stop... ...please, let us know before hand.

Remake of SotC is one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. And I've played plenty. Every time I start SotC I feel like living in that place, I wanna be surrounded by this environment. The whole area looks so abandoned yet so full of life. People from Bluepoint did a fantastic job.

I myself have always wondered how is it that the environment devoid of any significant... I'm not sure... movement? let alone entertainment, can feel so alive, so mesmerizing, and, above all, so inviting. I would also like to point out the phenomenal portraying of loneliness in this game without actually dealing with it directly. Kudos to Bluepoint, but the Japanese devs are the true treasure.

I love these videos, GameSpot. It's great to see developers just talk especially when the interview is edited in such a way that goes beyond a traditional one on one interview. I'd love to see more of this edited, authored content. However, it would be awesome to have the jargon explained on the screen. He said some pretty technical terms that I, along with many others, did not understand. Anyway, thanks again.

I remember being really pissed off at those saying “a remake. Yeah right”, when clearly they’ve shown how much effort was put into this. As much as I would love the cut colossi or ability to explore deleted areas (the dam especially), I’m glad they didn’t change too much from the original title. Still, I’ll never not be a little bummed out with how it would be such a good opportunity for those cut areas/colossi. Even if it was a cash grab DLC, I’d be willing to pay any amount, all because I love this game more than any other.

@@JoaoPedro-ni6jk I was but not in the way I imaged they'd do it. I thought they'd remake it faithfully like they did SotC but from the first trailer we see that the're taking a very different approach with this one. It's not only a remake but also a reimagining. They're making a lot of unnecessary changes to the art style and designs, making them more generic. I thought they new that doing something like this is hurtful to the original vision since their SotC remake didn't do anything like this. Now I'm disappointed and I don't understand this decision. The Demon's Soul Remake probably won't be bad but it will be less magical and consistent then the original.

More of an art piece than a game imo, world is massive and gorgeous and so are the colossi, but that's about all there is. No reason to explore the world since the whole game is literally just the boss fights, and you can't even do them out of order to mix things up. But with that said the story is one of the best in any game i've ever played, and the overall atmosphere is quite captivating. Great game for the first playthrough but theres not really any replay value.

Even if they didn’t add the colossi in nonexistent arenas with DLC, at the very least, I’d love if they could actually add areas that were cut. There’s a lot of creative freedom that would have to be used, but still, just imagine being able to see and walk on the dam.

I'm not giving up hope either. The dev's at Bluepoint Games as well as Fumito Ueda himself know how much fans want those extra colossi put back in the game. And I will add that in addition to the extra colossi, I'd also like full access to the very top of the main temple as well as the ability to explore all around the outside of it. The 20th anniversary of the game is almost here. If we're lucky, a Definitive Edition of the game will be released in 2025 that will include these extras.

It's an amazing remake, very faithful, awesome work! They toned down a little bit too much overexposition, which is done on purpose on the original SOTC (light and darkness are prominent themes), for the sake of colorfulness, or color saturation, and technical correctness, though... Also, Wander's face is more badass and handsome in the original.

Even as a simple DLC, I’d pay any amount just to experience this. I’m forever grateful that they made this remake, but I feel like even adding in a couple areas discovered by Pikol and Nomad wouldn’t have been too much to ask; especially the dam. At least with the cut colossi, they have a pretty good amount of videos and photos to choose from. Even if some of them had similar animations to the other colossi, I really don’t care. I remember reading that Ueda submitted what he wanted done to the remake, and I think we’re better off not knowing what he requested, or the level of disappointment may be even worse. Still, for all the missed opportunities, this was a very solid remake, but I understand those that feel like the mysteriousness/art style was ruined a bit. I don’t really mind that though.

Mr. Pyramid Head many argue that adding them in would break the canon to the number 16 and its importance. Well, that’s where DLC would come in. I’ll always wish for DLC in some form, but it is what it is.

15:45 Maybe it was intentional, like the way it wield the sword, showing his inexperience.
