@@MrEo89 lmao i wish. They closed the store for like a day when my manager got bit by one so that they could take out all the animals and move them to different locations (they being the assistant managers). Turns out the reason we had spiders was cuz the crickets kept getting out when we’d put them in baggies for people’s reptiles. Black widows love crickets ig and that store was basically an all you can eat buffet. Once we put the crickets in a new container where they really couldnt get out (ie not just a garbage bin with a hole at the top so they could breathe) the problem solved itself.

Jesus Christ is the propitiation for the whole world's sins. They that believeth and are baptized (with the Holy Spirit) shall be saved; but they that believeth not shall be damned. Those led by the Holy Spirit do not abide in wickedness. 👍🏾 *God is ONE manifesting himself as THREE;* the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! Bless him! *For these three are one.* As I am led by the Holy Spirit, nothing I state is a lie, but the truth of God. Anyone who tells you differently is misinformed or a liar. They do not know God, nor led by him. Anyone who *claims* to be a Christian and is against what I am doing, and where I am doing it; the Holy Spirit does not dwell within them, they lack understanding. They know not God, read his word, and their religion is in vain. Do not hear them, they will mislead you, the lost cannot guide the lost.

When you trust in God and cast your cares (worries, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts) upon him, they will be NO MORE! Know that there is power in the name Jesus Christ! His name casts out demons and heals! The world is wicked, evil, and of the devil. I too, was a wicked sinner of the world before I opened my heart to God. I am living proof of God's work and fruitfulness! He is an active God who hears the prayers of his! God's children are set apart (holy) and righteous. The devil is a liar that comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy; that includes your relationship with God. Open your heart to God, repent of your sins (he will forgive you), and let him direct your path. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands and purify your heart, lest you walk with the devil and follow him to hell.

I've only been bitten by a venomous spider once and it was a VERY mild species. But my dad was bitten by a Brown Recluse once, when moving firewood. His hand legit looked like it was rotting, even the primary care doctor seemed offput by the green pus and the yellow-ish coloration of his hand. This was in 2017 or so and my dad is doing okay now though, we bring this story up and laugh about it sometimes :)
@tedseb7726

Yeah, it can be bad, but bites are rare and if you sterilize the area and keep it clean your only problem is if your immune system has an abnormal reaction. Overall both black widows and brown recluses are very rarely lethal despite what I was taught as a kid. But that’s because it is as you can imagine more deadly to a child lmao.

I actually got bit by one of those darned things. I was scooping out wood chips to go into my outdoor animal kennels. They were in a bag, so I thought I was safe. Unfortunately, I squeezed her pretty hard and she retaliated. I had extreme shortness of breath, swelling in the arm and hand that was bitten, and fatigue. Wanna know the most f-ed up part? I called into work telling them that I was bitten by a BLACK WIDOW SPIDER 🕷 and was going to the hospital. My boss asked me if I could come in when I was done in the E.R.! Luckily, I wasn't allergic to the venom. Hell, I didn't even feel horribly towards the poor spider I squeezed to death. Squeeze me hard and I'll bite too. The spider helped me figure out if I should quit my job... I QUIT THE NEXT DAY! 🌟🌟🌟Wowww, thank you guys and gals for taking time out to read and like my story. The comments are also appreciated. No worries though, because this beautiful and terrifying lil creature helped me make a life empowering decision. I'm forever grateful. The Creator speaks in many different ways. Be somewhere that appreciates you, not just tolerates you! We all deserve a good place to thrive. If you can't find it... create it! Started my own business and never looked back. Interesting thing about spider fangs, they’re actually heavily modified from the chelicerae of other arachnids. He mentioned the pedipalps hold the prey still to inject venom, well basal Chelicerae actually are tiny little claws! You can still see them on scorpions. It’s the equivalent of if you didn’t have a jaw and you had 2 tiny little hands to rip apart your food for you and they push the bits in your mouth. :D

I actually have two of these puppies, I’ve had one for upwards of a year. They’re actually super chill animals, and I’ve actually handled them. As long as you pose no threat and sort of just act like a stick, they’ll have no reason to attack you and waste venom. Pretty much all widow bites happen out of defence. And yes, I’m fully aware there was still a chance of getting bitten, but I accepted that chance. Black widows bites are almost always non-lethal, unless you have some kind of heart condition that may cause issues.

There are two types of venom that she uses. One is for defense, causing muscles to seize up. The second is for her prey, or if whatever keeps bothering her doesn't get the hint. If you nudge her, she'll bite, releasing the first. If you apply pressure, as if you're trying to kill her, she'll release the second. Juvenile Black Widows and males have the first venom. The second develops in the females once they're adults. There is also a sister breed. They look like the Black Widow, being shiny black. They lack the hourglass, though. Also, bug bombs/sprays don't work on Black Widows due to their exoskeletons. They're more affected by scent. Lemon oil is effective in running them off. I decided to learn about them since I was bitten 12 times a few years ago, and before that having been bitten at age five. The pain was unreal. A couple of the symptoms doctors look for in bite victims is abdominal pain and fever.

I caught one in a jar and it got into a ball and pretended like it was dead. a couple of days later I saw it create a web in the jar. eventually I let it go into some plants but it was scary cause it ran out so quick. The biggest black widow I saw there though, was one that was inside a cigarette container. I opened up the lid cause I was trying to clean the interior and I came across the biggest black widow, it was crawling up it's web up toward the light and I closed the lid so quick I never opened it again or got close to that cigarette container again. Gave me the creeps, who knows how long that black widow had been alive in there it was fat, I wouldn't doubt it if there was other little mini ones in there as well.

@OneAndOnlyZekePolaris
Жыл бұрын
Can't call it waste venom when they don't use a lot. But yea it is possible to hold them in your hands. Brave Wilderness has video proof of this. No this is not a sponser.

Still remember the girl that brought a black widow to school in 3rd grade. The mom thought it was ok. Turned out they had over 100 animals in their house and they kept all their human food in their van.
I used to work as a cleaning person at a desolate FedEx warehouse and came across so many black widows there.
