@@ApakukiNayacakalou I used to work in Refineries and power plants around the country for many years. Most of what people see rising up when they drive past these places is steam. People are just ignorant(not saying that in a bad way) to the fact that plants don’t just willy nilly send chemicals into the atmosphere. When you see a flair stack burning 🔥 that’s when there is some kind of emergency so they are dumping a chemical and the fire is burning it. That’s when you worry and get up wind of the plant. Now, every time this happens there is a very detailed report that has to be made and an investigation into why it happened. These incidents have to be reported to state and federal agencies. And the operators and plants have to answer for why this happened. Does that mean that people don’t break the rules/laws and do things they are not supposed to. NO. But most of the time they are following the rules/law.
