RIP Bill Walton
This may be a cliche, Bill Walton was truly "One of a Kind"! We should all have such an incredible zest for life like Bill Walton! RIP!! I hope Walton is with John Wooden, Jack Ramsey, and Maurice Lucas!!

All truly great legends of the game and life as well.
"What can I do to make things better for as many people as possible?" Imagine if everyone lived that way.
Bill Walton had one hell of a personality!!! I remember seeing him on NBA on NBC where he was part of their crew. Growing up, I manage to catch a few of his games before his retirement from playing. Just one hell of a player and an NBA analyst. There's not a soul on this planet that doesn't honor you in some way.
It’s not how long you live but how you live. Mr. Walton, thanks for the memories:-)
Stunned and saddened. Living in Arizona now, I’ve come to essentially worship Bill’s PAC 12 broadcasts. A better man than player. Long may you run Bill Walton!
We will miss you 👑. RIP
I loved Bill's commentary throughout the 2000's and he was a social activist before it was cool to be one. A true legend on and off the court 🙏🏾 RIP
Love you Bill Walton RIP your personality is so magnetic and full of joy one of the greatest centers of all time very underrated!!!
RIP Condolences to the family
Didn't get to see his career, but his voice on NBA on NBC was iconic along with David Aldridge, Marv Albert, Hannah Storm, Ahmad Rashad, and Bob Costas. Thank you for the memories, Bill. You will be missed.
Rip goat 🐐
His true context is American history, not just basketball history. We were lucky to have him.
Really loved his NBA commentary growing up
My neighbor, nicest guy in the world He lived a block away from the San Diego Zoo.
A sad day.
In 1972 at UCLA, we students demonstrated against Nixon’s Vietnam War by first occupying the Franklin Murphy Administration Building and then had a mass sit-down demonstration at the intersection of Wilshire and Veteran. Bill Walton was always there standing up for what he believed in. Thank you BW.
What a superb compliment he was to that '86 Celtics team . He always spoke highly of his time with Boston.
if you never saw Walton play through all those years you would never know the impact he had on winning,... such an amazing human being,, I wanna be like Bill... Not an arrogant Ahole like Mike.
Rip 🙏🏻
Had the greatest game in the n,c,a,a final I ever see and will never see it again my top three best college basket ball player ever
How are you not going to mention his years of play-by-play next to the great Ralph Lawler? They were Clipper basketball during those tough seasons! The Big Red Head will be missed!
I had a poster of the 87 Celtics on my bedroom wall, and Bill was on the upper right. I liked him.
Rip
❤❤❤
Very sad news.
I give it a week until JJ Reddick trashes his legacy
Even with the EURO STEP, LEBRON JAMES WOULD GET SWATTED BY WILT CHAMBERLAIN AND BILL RUSSELL

For the number one sports station.. using died instead of passed away is upsetting.

Why? Isn't the result the same? It's not disrespectful, it's just stating a fact. Why use a euphemism?
Can we move on
