Most of this crap is made up, bro. This was made to draw people in..and that means lots of fiction and fake story telling. I personally feel this demeans and makes our people look stupid, gullible and ignorant. Our tribes and nations survived the worst the world could throw at them..until guns and the white mans diseases almost wiped us out. This ISN'T our culture. It's more of the white mans view of our culture. Know the difference, kola.

A deeper dive into the story results in more mundane conclusions. Despite "reports" of dozens of mysterious deaths, there are no corroborating reports in any newspapers or police reports. The reality is when Alaska Route 1 was complete towns easily accessed from the new highway flourished, and remote, inaccessible towns like Portlock were abandoned.

One thing you and any other skeptics out there have in common. 1, is most of you are city rats. You never lived in the outdoors. Matter of fact, most of you hypocrites hates prolonged outdoor living. 2, I think you skeptics have a more mundane conclusion simply because you never lived in Portlock yourselves Lol! Try living there, or camping anywhere close to its outskirts and see it with your own eyes, just like the old saying goes.. I'm a lifelong Alaskan and as a child my family lived on Wrangell Island. We were the last house in our neighborhood and closest to the mountain behind us as the trail up the mountain started at our backyard. One night I was playing in my room and felt as though I was being watched so I looked out my window and saw an enormous hairy beast with glowing eyes staring down in at me. I freaked out and told my mom. I said it looked like it was a wolf man or a dog man but that was before I learned about Bigfoot. This thing must have been at least 9 ft tall because our house was raised and in order to look down in at me, it would've had to be very tall. We moved away from Wrangell Island to Wasilla and never saw anything like it again. Although, I have seen other things like pygmie log cabins in the middle of nowhere up a mountain, beds and all. During the same trip we found a Bigfoot shack made of broken trees, nothing was cut and it smelled absolutely awful. All this happened up the Williow side of Hatcher Pass. My mother and grandfather came face to face with a cougar up there at Archangel Valley although we're told cougars don't live in Alaska...... While hiking around the mountains, I found an extremely old log home that was fortified and locked from the outside. Nobody had been there in what must have been at the very least 50 years. Worked out an old flower shop in Palmer and found an old tunnel system in the basement along with a terrifying concrete room with a vintage pastel blue toilet in the corner. Can't make this stuff up.

I've went looking in areas and went on some hunts with groups from colleges and wild life ppl, something I noticed is when you look for something you will see it in many forms bc some of the stuff they called evidence I myself could explain away, example a region that floods every year and had an ice storm couple years ago they said the trees bent over and intertwined was a sign like something they do when really it was the ice imo that left those trees like that, or the sound of an ape in the woods late at night, it was an owl, owls sound just like a monkey or ape sometimes in woods, I do believe there's something but alot of it is false

I heard stories that this creature was 12-14 feet tall and weighing close to 750lbs! And it wasn't just one , it was over a dozen of them, they sent in the military to find and capture one of these creatures, but after 3 members of a special forces team were found dismembered and hanging in trees, tbe military decided to pull out and they never spoke about it again
