    Guys, your vids are SO informative and engaging. Very grateful for the time and effort you put into them! I’m a little confused about the B211A Biz visa - you’ve stated that this visa is only eligible for those NOT making an income in Bali, but the below website states that it has been confirmed that “you can live and work from Bali legally as a digital nomad, You can stay for up to 180 days, and You can prolong your stay for additional 180 days by applying for an Onshore B211A visa” Would love to know your conclusion on this 🤔🥰

    Hi @ashlynlincoln9734 👋 Thanks so much! 🙌 Totally understand that visas aren't the easiest thing to work out. Especially when things change quite regularly & lots of websites state deferent things. There is a lot of info out there & we based most of our research on official sites. Onshore & Offshore regulations might have changed since the last time we checked, so just make sure to clarify B211A 'application' & 'extension' differences. Meaning- Where you have to apply form 'overseas' or 'in country'. Extensions can be done 'in country'. Let us know how you go 😁

    We're always happy to share what we learnt! 😊 We are a little reluctant to share who we went with as we think there might be better options out there.. We would recommend compiling a list of agencies and comparing their services, timelines and how they correspond to your inquiries (i.e how detailed they are, full pricing list and transparency of their services). More expensive doesn't always equal better in our experience. If we do end up finding and learning about a great option, we will surely share here!

    Anything but the VOA or tourist visa is a big PITA. I even looked into the Indonesian "retirement visa" scheme, and for that you have to employ two locals as house staff in addition to a couple thousand dollars US in fees to qualify. My "retirement" visa in Thailand costs me all of $60 a year and no staff!

    Hi @user-tb5du3hj3y 👋 You're very welcome 😊 Yep you are spot on. Just those 2 in our experience are annual costs. Hi guys, I have a question about the financial requirements associated with setting up the PT PMA which, if I understand correctly, you must do in order to obtain a Kitas Investor Visa, yes? In establishing a PT PMA are you required to invest an amount of paid share capital? To clarify, articles I am reading seem to suggest as much as IDR 10 billion, or IDR 2.5 billion, is a necessary amount to deposit as cash in your business’s bank account upon opening. Any light you can shed on this?

  • @steveandnadia

    @steveandnadia

    Жыл бұрын

    Hi Faderline, you're correct with the PMA establishment - you do need to set it up first in order to obtain your Investor Kitas. Regarding the business bank account registration, we went with BCA and the minimum deposit is IDR 1mil. But unfortunately, the 10 billion investment requires legal advice and we are not in a position to provide this. There is contradictory information out there, and it is equally frustrating for us. Our suggestion is always to have thorough chats with an agency you trust. There are pros and challenges when it comes to setting up here, and some things are really not as clear cut as we wish.

It seems Satusehat has replaced the Peduli Lindungi app which you needed to have downloaded on your phone as one of the requirements to board your flight and enter into Indonesia. Safest bet is to download the Satusehat app just incase (many people reported they couldn't enter their info into the app) so as long as you've got your vaccination certs as back up when you enter. As the VOA being scrapped, we haven't heard those reports as yet. Hope this helps 😊

    Hello 👋 VoA extensions are roughly around USD$65 (1mil IDR). This can vary in price though, depending on which agency or how you choose to extend. Something that we learnt was to allow yourself plenty of time to submit your passport before your visa expires. This can save you on spending extra on 'express' extension services that places will charge you extra for.

You can ask questions on real estate investment plan structure and reporting. From what we know, you don’t necessarily have to bring in business to Bali, but your investment in real estate can be under the PT PMA company you choose to set up prior to your KITAS application. So this may be considered as part of your company’s capital investment plan.
