I like mine. It’s fun just cruising around town or commuting. Not many cars can offer that. Sometimes driving feels like a chore but in the Miata I always have a good time.

Currently 15, and im really tempted to get a Miata MX5 NA either 1990 or 1992, doesn't matter really. Only thing i'm a little scared about is the price, the price for the MX5 right now is pretty cheap here where I live, but a lot could happen in three years... What do you think about the prices, do you think they'll change a lot? Also, the MX5 looks really welcoming and looks like a pretty cozy car, does driving it feel like what it looks like driving it? haha, very good looking miata btw :)

Hey man I’m 18 and I just bought a 90 Miata. I would def recommend getting one if it’s cheap in ur area cuz I paid for way more than what I could’ve bought it for when I was 16. Also would recommend a 92, think that’s with long nose crank shaft. Currently doing research on short nose crank wobble 😅

dude yes ! buy one as soon as you can afford it imo- I can’t find any good cars under 5k in my area, and I’m having a ton of trouble :(

Yes, the price will just keep increasing as time goes by. I've had my 91' Miata for about 4 years now and I would say it's a great car, as long as you maintain and drive it safely. The earlier models 90' - 91' also have a short-nose crank, that's just something to keep in mind. It's somewhat comfortable, depends on your height, but yes driving the car is incredibly fun. You have to be very careful when driving around SUVs/Trucks/18 Wheelers because the Miata is tiny! Sometimes they can't see you in their blind spot and merge in your lane. The years 90 - 93' have a 1.6L. and 94 - 97 have a 1.8L. You should also look at the miata forums! It's very helpful and has basically everything.

Ive seen people drive them around in winter but idk how good it is for the car and other stuff, and is a hardtop required in winter? Thank you again!

Miata’s do fine in the rain! They’re not super beginner friendly in the snow though! If you do get one make sure you get snow tires for winter and good all seasons for summer/rain! Stay safe out there!😁
