Poor Ciraldo, the blokes aged 20 years in one season
Imagine if they went to Melbourne. They'd be in for a shock under Bellamy
Who turns up late to work consistently and expects not to face any repercussions? ESPECIALLY when you’re getting 500k-800k a year. Try not being late next time and then you won’t be having a sook 💀

How many jobs would let you turn up late before you were asked not to bother coming in. What's happened at the Dogs has happened to every club that didn't foresee that letting go of all their veteran players without first making sure the culture was still alive, every single one of those clubs ended up with a terrible seasons until they had rebuilt the culture back up.
@kainoizking
9 ай бұрын
Exactly. And they’re trying to bring back retired legends to get around the boys to try and drive standards and revive the culture. Retired players don’t drive standards, from my experience neither do coaches for the most part. Standards are driven by the leadership group and the senior players that you train and play with day in and day out. They’re an absolute shambles right now.
Go and lay bricks, pour concrete or lay roof tiles for 10 or 12 hours, you will know about a long day 12 minutes late lol he was half hour late, be there ready to roll at 5 to 8 at the very latest
Well done Ciraldo! If a player wants to walk out let them walk. There are plenty of other players who would kill for a spot in the top 30’s and for this player to walk out because of a grilling they got at training you don’t deserve to be any part of a NRL club.

I’m a warriors fan I’m glad ciraldo went to the dogs as mark Robinson said we don’t want people that don’t want to be at the warriors. Obviously Andrew Webster carries similar training techniques as Cameron but his people skills I’m just guessing my be found wanting , because I’ve listened to interviews of warriors players and they jokingly complain of fellow players pulling or my injuries are holding me back but no just like any other professional club players they train as hard as you can

He might get some insight into changing the culture by spending the Pre Season with the Gold Coast Suns. The new coach Damien Hardwick had the exact same problem at Richmond and turned them into a powerhouse.

If a player walks out then let him go.
If anything this is a good sign. Weed out all the weaklings that don’t want to work hard. You cant be a losing side and expect to be allowed to come and go whenever you please.
Who is (are) the players?
Without a doubt JAC is one of the whingers
Please start winning 😢
Ciraldo is absolutley right...💯 "Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard" Kevin Durant
who was the player??
Train hard get the treats
get rid of the lot Go out to the country areas and get young tough country boys
Braith: “why’s this an issue right now?” Let’s discuss this with journalists…… get players on ffs! Next vid
Bro should’ve come to the Tigers
“The days are longer at the place I was at previously”…. Maybe that’s the problem COACH! You make the schedule, why aren’t these blokes working as hard as Penrith if that’s what it takes to win?
That's what happens when the lunatics run the asylum, the players don't put the effort in and just blame the coach until he's replaced, new coach and the same old attitude remains.
It took Kevin Walters and Adam O'Brien 3 years. You got a good coach.... support him
Bulldogs have never recovered from selling champion Thurston and keeping the average Anasta.
If a player doesn't want to do hard work they better not ever get a job
If they had the heart of a team like the Dolphins do they could go along way ,Im surprised by their year ,its been a total failure, with the incredible talent they actually have ,I feel Brisbane went through the same thing ,theres some people in the club that need to be let go obviously, some bad apples for sure.
Ciraldo doing the right things turning these Pups into Pitbull on the field then success will come.
Sounds like fox is bringing it up now so they don't have to talk about South's.
Can we start naming these players? The problem in this day and age & it's not just footy or professional sports but in every day life is all about upbringing & these kids are spoilt & extremely precious. Life has become too easy for them, they want for nothing. 12 minutes late might sound harsh but if no action is taken then they'll do it again & then it's a domino effect thru the club & their teammates are seeing this & think well if he's getting away with it than i can as well.
Shows how the media sensatonalise things. 9 monthes later, they crusing quite nicly, A few more Penrith players, and they'll be contenders
Ciraldo sounds a lot like Ange Postecoglou
Every bulldogs players need to fully commit to Ciraldos programme in order to succeed , yet they seem divided 🤷🏽♂️ .
I have a soft spot for the bulldogs I grew up in Canterbury, I’m a Penrith supporter. Things will get better the dogs things take time to build a club they have a good coach Cameron ciraldo
Chrichton might wanna re-think signing with the dogs... Burto, Mahoney, Kiks, Addo-Carr and Api (Tigers) are all learning the hard way that more money is sometimes detrimental to your career. I hate the Bulldogs, but it's only fun to hate them when they're winning. Hope they turn it around.
It seems to me that the player who supposedly walked out because of the punishment from being late probably has other reasons outside of football for doing that because he asked for mental health leave a week after the incident.
Glad we got webby & not ciro

Heres a fun fact: the only player who was part of the 2021 bulldogs side and is still there with a contract for next season is Chris Patalo, whom which has only played 2 games this season. The dogs have a serious 'stick to' issue.

All negative about them at the moment. What about the positives. Preston, Alamoti, Wilson and Rajab all getting starts this year. Mahoney had a great start to the year before falling off the cliff. He looks exhausted. Okunbor started the year as a winger in reggiesand now playing forward in firsts. Kiraz and Avarillo good all year. Max King playing with one eye. "Standards have to change" - well stop the PR rhetoric and do it. For me Dogs players look like a team getting mixed messages but hey I could be completely wrong.Maybe time to cut the huge amount of dead wood/ex players around Ciraldo (eg Willie Mason) and give him FULL control as I really believe the old saying "too many cooks spoil the broth" is apt for Doggies right now. Fact is Dogs were performing better under Potter than they are now so Ciraldo's tough talking claim the club hasn't gone backwards is mere PR rhetoric. Anyone actually believing ALL the problems at Doggies is the players fault are deluded.
basket case of a club 😂😂
most of the players these days are flowers anyway, standard training, how about we just get them to bounce around like Mary Poppins, dress them like ballerinas, no contact just prance around like flowers
Sad for Doggies..
Slow media day clearly
FOX going into damage control for the Bulldogs you mean. I find it hard to believe the players waited this long to blow up about the coach's methods. And players don't walk out of a club because they've been punished for being late. Happens all the time and they accept the punishment and move on. You can paint the players as villains if you like. But if just a fraction of what's been said is true then you have to ask questions about the coach's methods. Particularly his ability to communicate his vision to the players and his motivational techniques. The Bulldogs have got plenty of quality names. And yet they're performing like trash. These players never had problems at their previous clubs.
Obviously the players aren't trying hard enough but I think Ciraldo is cooked. Gus has joked about wishing the season was over already. In hindsight Ciraldo needed to bring a couple of 'his' men with him like an Andrew Webster to help him (get across all areas of managing the team). It's just alot of work for one person and there is too much expected of him. Gus said it's going to be a very hard job for 18 months, but Ciraldo doesn't stand a chance handling everything from man management, tactics and coaching.
