I just got his E4 by continuously dumping as many single pulls I can find! I honestly never expected to get even E1, so now Aventurine is my GOAT gacha character of all time

Im so glad they made my favourite character so good. I went all in on him, s1 e1. He's unbelievably good and is already doing wonders on my account

I agree the fun factor is easily the most important when deciding on a character. I was on the fence about pulling for him, but after trying him in combat and watching his animations, he is just too satisfying to use. Also works perfectly for my account since I didn't have any 5-star sustain before. It feels devs are actively experimenting with more interactive kits for each new sustain character. Going from Luocha to Aventurine, the difference in how to pilot them is massive.

yeah exactly this! I think at the start of the game, the safest option was to try and get characters that are very standardized and get their job done to help allow players to learn the fundamentals of the game. As we began to progress further into the lifespan, players are getting better and so is the information available to us. The best way to try and improve the way a game feels and plays is to also be willing to take those risks to evolve with different types of gameplay Acheron was a great start to showing what the system is possible to do Aventurine was a step up from other sustainers, and further enhances a playstyle (follow up attacks) while also enhancing shields from versions of characters we already had. We have already been fed these specific character niche's before (Ruan Mei for Break, Sparkle for Mono Quantum) so it's really telling with how things are going!

I could beat 4, but he allowed me to go into conundrum levels and same with SD, I couldn't beat 5, but now I can easily. He's a game changer for SU related content like Ruan Mei and Acheron

Jumped from Conundrum 6 to Conundrum 10 thanks to him, He is so gooood

Dude helped me clear moc 12 and swarm disaster 5 at last Pretty much the biggest power spike I’ve ever felt at my account And that’s e0, with a 4* lc, it’s scary to imagine what he does with eidolons and his signature, but I must resist the temptation and keep saving for Topaz Geppie is nowhere even close

yeah! I did a lot of testing with the 4* light cones and he still does such a great job, its like a night and day experience between what you can do with Aventurine and what you could do with another sustainer. Topaz is definitely worth going for, I'd definitely say she's worth it more than the light cone! I've got a good feeling she may be coming back next patch too so here's to hoping 🙏

The last push that told me to pull for him myself was getting Gepards LC from the standard banner as I was close to pity about 2 weeks before he released. This was perfect timing so I went for it! 🥹

The possibilities he offers are hilarious and fun. FUA feels even more like you’re jumping the enemy. His shields are comfortable. I started in February and getting both him and Luocha have been massive grabs. Also love Gallagher.

I got to moc 11 after not being able to get past 8 for so long 💀💀💀 he’s actually so amazing.

I basically just use him everywhere I go. He literally changed the way I play the game. I clear so much more content because of Aventurine. No doubt he's my favorite character now and a gorgeous one at that

As someone who went all in for Aventurine and not only got his Lightcone, but even 2! Of his Eidolons specifically for Acheron (not only, but primarily for her) i gotta say best decision in this game so far. While his Lightcone adds a 10% Damage Increase to his FUA, his E2 adds 12% all type RES Down to his BASIC Attack. Means Debuffs on every offensive move. Combined with Kafka and Black Swan on my Team and my Acheron is basically usingher Ult every turn while the enemy loses so much Defense and Resistance

E2 aventurine must be kinda sick, i was messing around with E1 in sim uni and I felt like that was already such a convenient upgrade, each sustainers definitely got some sick eidolons for their value but Aventurines really does bring some great value!

@@Kilios its amazing, the 12% All Type RES Down with Acherons 17.5% All RES Down plus Black Swans 25% Lightning RES Down when Shocked thanks to her E1 (which is one of the Reasons Kafka is in thid team) means 54,5% Lightning RES lost when Acheron Ults, Plus the other 2 Debuffs from Aventurine and Black Swans Defense Reduction, makes her deal so much damage without having the other 3 missing out on much Damage either. only "issue" is most enemies are dead before all these Debuffs come together, but when it does like in Gold and Gears, even some of the strongest mfers are falling like Flies

He helped me finally clear the last stages of GnG and Swarm Disaster for the first time… I’d definitely say he’s a pretty good buy🙌

As someone who only had Luocha as their 5 star sustain (skipped first Fu Xuan banner and regret it) I desperately needed one!!! When Hoyo dropped that he'll be preservation I waited to see his kit, and the closer he got the more I wanted him, so I did and finally beat SD 5 and will be attempting G&G levels in the coming days.

This is really awesome to hear!! Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears are super fun, and honestly I know how much of a struggle it could be to even get everything unlocked from there. Aventurine does a great job in both of the game modes, and I specifically decided to go into Difficulty 5 Conundrum 12 for Gold and Gears to show his capabilities as best as I could, at the MAX difficulty. It's really great to see he's able to hold out so well, and i've read so many comments talking about them getting through the Simulated Universe modes for the first time with him!

The more and more I think about it, he is just better than Fu Xuan, even if just barely so. Like the 12% CR buff from her is great if your relics aren't there, but once they are having that sustain that go be even more SP positive and provide some meaningful damage along the way while also making SU/SD/G&G runs a breeze is just chef's kiss. He has a fun factor to him as well with some interesting decision making if you really wanna maximize his utility.

I think the fun value is definitely what keeps me more interested in him overall. I had a ton of fun slotting him into compositions and the first thing that crosses my mind is "how many follow ups will he get" and I think just that alone is more thinking then I did ever when i use my fu xuan or my luocha. There's a lot when it comes to a sustainer and what you would want out of the character, but I also believe that the interactability matters a lot too to keep thiungs entertaining!

Uk that his dmg buff is better? He buff 15% cd of the dmg taken by enemies for example, if your dps has 300 cd which is the bare minimum he will buff 15% of that 300 which is 45 and its already higher CV than FX buff and it can go even higher if you are have broken keel in your supports or sparkle/bronya no one talks about his dmg buff as everyone thinks its straight 15 CD buff

Aventurine was one of the happiest mistakes i made in HSR. For a bit of context, I wasn't even planning on pulling Aventurine initially, I was pulling for Jingliu and It took me around 150 pulls to get her cause I lost my 50/50 to Yanqing. and saw I had 1900 jade left by the end, so I was a bit upset and decided to just do a 10 pull on Aventurines banner with the last of my jade, fully not expecting to get him... 1 ten pull later and I got him. Needless to say i've had hella fun using him on my DHIL team(Yes, I know it's not his OPTIMAL team, but I don't really have very many other good characters that are optimal for him that aren't already being taken up by my other teams.), especially in Simulated Universe running the Preservation path.

It's like an entire different world once you start swapping out your 4 star sustainers for a limited 5 star, it almost feels like you cant go back to the way you played before
