The Lemu is unbeatable! I remember the taste of Lemu on rice as a daily feature. I happened to be in London and managed to buy it at a store and the Price was 2 pieces for a Sterling pound.

i managed to bring back a plant of this from north east Bangladesh, the plant is now thriving in my conservatory in the UK. a couple of fruits and flowers on it!!

This lemon is very common in seemanchal region of Bihar,almost every home in villages has its plant.Its sherbet is very refreshing with very good fragrance.

You can get a plant but will not grow there. It needs specific climate like that of northeast

How is it different from Gandharaj which Bengalis consume in huge quantities?

It has more refreshing flavour. It is also more juicy. I guess you could call it more citruous or minty flavour. Also much much better while making lemon juice. Probably because of being juicer and minty flavour.
