Agreed, Maryland lottery just switched. I stopped playing. Simple Google search of edward Tipton. Will tell you all you need to know.

so that computer keeps track of the number put in all day .. and occasionally let a winner hit sound like a scam to me ... the balls where not corruptible ..

Exactly that’s why they changed me it to the computer because the balls for real-time draws. Ever notices how the lotto Nowasays has high high Winning prize. Like going over a billion dollars it’s all thanx to the computer suysten

The computers know every number combination that has been picked. Just before the draw the computer can pick whatever combos that haven't been played yet. Whomever controls the computer can control who wins and how often the jackpot is won.

Thats exactly my thought. And when every number combinations has been pick thats when they decided whats city should be beneficial for the jackpot.

And now in 2017 we see that the computer programmer manipulated the software so that he would know winning numbers in advance. They should go back to the physical balls.

David Mac Exactly because if they didn’t they could choose the numbers in advance but what’s done is the computer sells numbers and keeps a record of every combination sold then all they do is tell the computer to pick a number that has not been sold it’s that simple

How the hell can a lottery have a budget problem? Their guaranteed a profit. I'm thinking it's greed. If we cut the lottery machines and the people who maintain them plus the tv hosts for the lottery. We can save another 300k..More to pay the remaining employees..

Just imagine ! If technology can invent a program for an ATM, for a supermarket checkout, etc., etc. to do everything. How can they not invent a program to pick winning numbers?

We like see it live so we know it's fair so we know the government not picking who should win

They are live in New York, but I don't know if the same number is on every ball in the machine, because it starts with the balls floating around and they don't show them rolling in, with the pick 3 and pick 4.

The ball system wasn't to expensive. He didn't state how the americium was involved. Americium (and all radioactive substances) have a very specific decay; nothing random ! A computers random is not random. F this S#!+, I'm done.

What was wrong with pulling balls live if it’s random and legit balls being used.?

You just answered it! if it was truly random then there would not only be more winners but also more of the same combinations repeating themselves!

Because of the computer draw never ever buy a lotto ticket again only from ball numbers only and if you cannot see a live drawing don't play.

how much does a ball machine cost to operate? are you shitting me? they did away with it do to budget issues? I assure you it cost more to operate a Computer filled with a radioactive material.

Lotto America is drawn by a number generator the Powerball and the Megamillions drawn by ping pong balls that has numbers written on them.

💀picking your own numbers for years and then forgetting to play it on the winning day is the same as losing a grand prize ticket!!!

I trust these people about how far I can piss up wind in a hurricane.

this is one of many reasons why the lottery is a scam - machine requires americium to randomly generate numbers, yet quick picking your ticket at your local corner store does not, does that mean that your quick pick ticket is not truley random? - also odds are way off. they base the odds on a system that must require every possible number combination sold for that draw date and they assume that no 2 people will have the same 7 combination on their tickets. the chances of them reaching every possible combination in sales is impossible or even selling that many tickets each draw for their basic odds. so the chance that they claim someone wins here or there every draw really is alot more impossible then they make it seem, im not saying that no one wins, but i am saying that for instance in canada. someone wins big in ontario almost every draw, which is impossible but it happens, they say its because more tickets are sold there. but that wouldnt make a difference with odds.theres still the 1 in 28 million. 14 million people live in ontario, even if only 8 million people played the lottery thats also assuming that people will have the same number combinations makes the number even lower. and in the end its still 1 number that is drawn that may not even of been printed because its "random" so the odds for a lottery winner to win in ontario every draw is near next to impossible but yet it still happens. -the third thing is that although its mandatory to get your photo taken for prizes over 10 thousand dollars, we only see about 5% of the web site, wheres the other 95% of winners? well we know there in ontario. but they are non existent else where -winning jackpots usually happen neer the end of the month aswell. or neer holidays also scratch and wins, they release 4000000 tickets claiming you can win 1 million dollars, but often winning tickets are not even in circulation , so its false advertisement

@@terrencecrcst yes its new to replace the ball tumbling machine. they use a computer with americium in it and apparently it deteriorates slowly at a random percentage per day. so some how theres a sensor that reads this deterioration and some how uses it to randomly generate numbers. its ridiculous and seems so unnecessary to draw lotto numbers this way . but they claim that a ball tumbler machine is too much maintenance and to expensive. even though the lottery profits hundreds of millions each year. but i still dont understand why they claim that this is "truly random" does that mean that computer generated RNG that dont have americium are not? i personally think its just all a big scam.

Everytime i play my numbers more than 20 times i lose but when I play less on pick 3 I win and I just found out the computer generates them 😂 no wonder I haven’t hit big!

Eddie Tipton cheat the lottery players with those computers.. They need to put the ping pong balls back on live tv for all the States Lottery..

The multi-state lotto let a singe guy, Eddie Tipton, who was an ex-felon for financial crimes write the code, too without auditing it, and lots of his friends and connections won various lotteries. Years later they found out he added code to preset the random number seed to set it to a known value instead of the radioactive Americium decay for certain drawings… Yeah, I have trust issues.

A computer can log every set of numbers played and then just pick a set that hasn't been logged

In my country we are using the ball system and there are live draws every week. A spectator will be asked to pull the numbers. Well, anyone can attend the drawing sessions. But really, are they really the spectators? Haha!

I think I trusted it more when the ball machines were used and it was shown on tv.If its a computer then it can see all nunbers shown and pic opposite. Thats horrible.

That's why I never win because computers cheat 😡

I believe computers are very intelligent however any computer software is built on a algorithm. It said it’s not hooked up to a network so it’s not seeing the numbers being played. I think finding patterns with this is easier than the balls because there are patterns it’s a computing system
