I’m a teacher and I’m very aware how we can impact a child. I do my best to treat them all in a special way and help them when they’re down. I’ve been told similar things from my students and honestly that makes it all worth it. ^^

Teaching is a sacred job in my opinion (though we definitely don't reward teachers as we should). Those that take the responsibility seriously, or even just keep in mind the impact that they are going to have on that child get the greatest amount of respect possible from me.

My most memorable teacher was a few years ago who was my Psychology professor. The old guy made the semester less complicated and had a hilarious sense of humor. He also brought in food occasionally. Good for a class first thing in the morning.

i had a pysch teacher like that, dude was so chill and yelled in class while telling stories. We'd take one page of notes then go outside and hang out for the hour left in class, good times with Maxwell.

The only reason I do 100% on that state quiz each time is because I had this like leap frog thingy with a stylus and each time I clicked on a state it'd say it's name, so I know where each state is just by it's shape. I'm not bragging, I legit don't know why that's stuck in my head for this long.

My most memorable teacher was my Software Development teacher, theres nothing really special about him but he just gave off chad energy. He'd let us do whatever we want as long as we did the work. Even though are our school were not allowed to play games on our laptops he'd excuse us if we "coded" the game since it was software development, and he knew that we just copy pasted game code from a website but he didn't care at all. Absolute Chad.

My yr 6 teacher is somebody I'll never forget, he was really into cooking and baking and he would hold cupcake contests, (I came second!) he was also just super nice in general, he would make tasks really fun to do and we'd get rewards like being able to have extra lunch or going out to play sports. One thing that we did, was with the whole of yr 6 and it was called thoughtful thursday, where we wrote our name on a paper, stuck it on our backs and then went around the room and wrote positive things/aspects about each other on the paper and it was really nice to see that everybody's words. We then made it into a poster, we were able to do whatever we wanted with it as long as it included our name and all of the positive comments. The reason I'll never forget him though is because one day our task was to write down how we felt during the year, what I didn't know was that he would be reading them, so I poured out all of my suicidal and depressive thoughts into it. (I had been suffering with them since yr 4) He later pulled me back and talked to me for a bit about it, and it was nice to talk to someone about it, I ended up crying a lot. He later got some friends of mine to take me to the bathroom so I could take a little breather without everybody else seeing me, that helped me a lot back then and to this day I'm still grateful for it.

My favourite teacher ever was my high school math and physics teacher. He was a big goofball and would explain everything using props and silly jokes. Like, when we were doing waves he took the entire class out into the hall to whip a big rope around and see how the waves interacted. He would put students on chairs with wheels and push them around to simulate particles. Plus he was british so he spoke with a funny accent.

I'm watching this with my kitten on my lap and it's fun to see her react to lilypichu's unusually high voice because she hasn't been alive long enough to see that a hooman could make those sounds

My most memorable teacher(s)... my art teacher from junior and senior year of high school, my last choir teacher (I had 4 different ones.. 1 from kindergarten to 7th grade.. 1 from 8th to 9th grade, 1 was only in 10th grade, then the last one), and my English teacher my senior year... My art teacher always treated me like an equal. I knew I wasn't in that position, but she treated me like I was a fellow teacher, an adult, etc... but she would also treat me like I was her daughter. I remember one day during my senior year, I was having an odd day... one of my friends gave me a love letter from one of our mutual friends, and she told me not to read it until 4th hour. My 4th hour was independent art, meaning I was the only student in the room for a good chunk of the time.... when I read it, my teacher said "oh god... what the hell happened? What the hell is that? BOYS?" My last choir teacher treated all of the choir members like her children. I loved being around her so much that I ended up being a peer tutor (basically a teacher's assistant) so I could be in her class for twice the amount of time. My English teacher was a first time teacher, so he understood that a lot of students wouldn't respect him.. he didn't feel like he was making enough of a difference in my classmates' education, so he ended up leaving my school.... it went from my favorite academic class to absolute shit... but every time he could, he subbed. The best memory of class with him was when he gave us a creative writing assignment.... we had to pick a type of "end of the world" scenario, and write a story about it.
