It actually makes me mad that the NRG roster split because they couldn't figure it out. Obviously Ardis is a great player but geez he sure did feel like the odd man out with that team. FNS and S0m should still have contracts tbh and can't help but feel like Ardiis kinda threw for them.

I'm dumb, but I just wanna ask: was he the real reason NRG fell off?

Not really dude nrg finished 4th in Tokyo nrg was the team that never won anything it just happened in Champs they were initially gonna get yay but c9 signed him then it was too late ardiis is still soo good

I dont think one player is ever to blame for the "fall off", but i think ardiis playstyle didn't match old optic core along with every member on the nrg roster saying that team chemistry felt off towards the end. Think they are all still amazing individual players

They placed 4th. The reason people claim they fell off was due to high expectations of previous Optic players. Honestly, I think there was some role issues with Ardiis not being able to play chamber which he was really good on previously as well as just lack of team chemistry. At the end of the day, Ardiis joined NRG which 3 were previous teammates and S0m being already close friends with FNS making Ardiis being the one to adjust to the new IGL.
