Definitely makes me feel all the things. Lol. I have listened to this song soooo much. You could watch his duet with Placido Domingo, it probably wont make your playlist, unless you like opera music, not sure. But its something different to watch. Maestro Placido Domingo is a legendary opera singer and one of Dimash's idols as a child. The fact that he got to sing with him was a dream come true, and a dream come true for those of us who like opera. And his new live acoustic version of Omir played with his younger brother Mansur.

Thank you so much for such a positive, respectful reaction! I appreciate that you didn't try to compare him to anyone else as so many reactors feel the need to do. I also appreciate that you let the credits run to give respect to the cast and crew and I'm sure Dimash appreciates it as well. So great job🙂!!

Did u catch that first quick appearance of Dimash on the balcony? Thanks for writing on the screen a positive about his English. I for one love!! his accent and I really hope that he does not ever pronounce English words as a native speaker, which I am. I like it when a singer has something about their accent or their pronunciation that stands out from the common familiar way of native speakers. I've seen many many reactions on this new song, and 2 people (ONLY 2 out of tons) complained about his English and said they didn't think he should sing in English; wow, it's one thing not to like a song, but to limit someone for their accent......geeezzzz, I don't get that at all, so thanks for the positive. I also love the way he moves, he moves so well on the screen, and I appreciate Dimash's ability to cross over and mix so many styles. So many artists, album after album, song after song, performance after performance are predictable. Their music is essentially the same sounding product decade after decade; but with DQ, we get so so many flavors and textures and emotional energies - who would ever imagine as a seductive Vampire!! -I really love that! I love the surprises and his fearlessness to step into areas that others may try to limit him from venturing into!

Greetings from Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the opening music is from Delibes' Opera lakmé, which had its premiere in 1863 at the Paris Opera. Dimash certainly took this recording from the bottom of his trunk,

Hi again. 🦇Vampires live forever, even if they're composers -- the recording at the start was done over a century ago: kzread.info/dash/bejne/a2Wcj7GYaJPAoZs.html To be more serious about his growth as a composer... One of the degrees he's graduated from covered non-classical genres academically (with pop and jazz as the major, but also more genres as minors in the degree). But I think the first time he spent truly immersed in blues, r&b, rock, soul, jazz, and funk culture was when he spent some weeks in Los Angeles California last year. I've read this is one of a half dozen or so songs he composed during that time (and that that's just a start; he continues to be serious about eventually breaking the US market). These new influences also clearly impacted his shocking arrangement in his recent version of the song Dudarai. (Hmm, a new thought just jumped out at me. That song was supposedly written by a lady who fell in love with a Kazakh around 1905...) Peace and love from the UK 🕊💚
