    As an Ahri main/one-trick, this makes me really happy to see. It kind of makes me sad that everyone seems to hate this guy for trying to climb with his favorite champion in a way that works for him.

Seems to easy to abuse her. Midlane on the other Hand sounds better. Good 2v2 after level 2/3 with your for easy gank setups in Lane/River for your Jungler, good botlane roams after level 6 and you have it somewhat easy vs most Assasins. Now i wanna try it

That's like me saying I'm not good at melee champions and finding kills with autos, so I locked in Udyr.

  • @entropicplays162

    @entropicplays162

    3 жыл бұрын

    If you snowball hard, you don't need charm to kill squishies because your full combo without charm kills them anyway, but I agree that Ahri lacks the scaling other mages have even with her charm, which makes her feel pretty bad to play at times, because the damage just isn't there. Even Neeko has higher damage ratios than Ahri through all stages of the game, but Neeko tends to blow up a lot which is why she's not so good as support, because while she has a lot of good utility, her defenses are complete trash, and it's too easy for the enemy to focus her down before she can actually do anything. I think that's why Swain support has become a staple because he has the utility of Ahri or Neeko, but also has the tanky that neither of them have so he can fronline for his adc. His kiting is also very forgiving.

    If you're not a top 10-50 player on one of the major servers you have nothing to say to this guy because you are quite literally not better than him at solo queue. You might be better mechanically, but you are not a better player. This game might favour mechanically skilled people, but there are numerous accounts that make it to the top solely by being superior at macro play and abusing shit like a team full of fucking challengers focusing the support because he has damage as Ahri (as demonstrated in the video). And even IF you are better in every single measurable metric (which even with optimistic numbers is 1 in 75000), what the fuck do you care if he's bad and what makes you think that it validates you being a toxic piece of shit?

Ahri is very forgiving and you can survive being in a bad position, but you dont get this high in ranked by surviving, you need to be pulling your weigh and that requires positioning and mastery of the champion. I've recently started playing a lot of Glacial Ahri running Everfrost and I can confirm on how stable the pick is whether it's on Mid or Support. Her early game is a bit on the weaker side, but she scales so well into mid and late game because of how much CC and mobility she offers. The best way to get ahead is to not feed gold through deaths, and Ahri as a champ excels at doing that. Pair that with a 5 second stun-lock on one enemy guaranteed (Not including the slow that Glacial puts out from Everfrost's active), and you'll win teamfights left and right. The only counter against it is an absurdly fed tank or a stupidly coordindated team.

    @@nicker10yearsago21 nah lots of officially recognized grammatical sources note it’s not incorrect to use singular they for when the gender is ambiguous. It’s not rare to do this in English we just don’t always notice it. Example: “Someone stole my pencil” “I wonder who they were” In this case it doesn’t make sense to assume it’s a male or female so they is perfectly acceptable. Yes, they is usually used as a group pronoun but it can also be used for individuals. Usually if the gender is unknown but nowadays it’s also often used by ppl who don’t want to be considered a male or female (whether you agree with that being a thing is it’s own topic, but not relevant to the grammar being acceptable or not)

    I guess that's an intricacy of the english language. In my own language the word "player" is a masculine word, so we would call the ahri player, he/him. But that's referring to the gender of the word, not the gender of they player. Person for example is a feminine word, so if someone is addressing me as a person, for example someone processing a legal document, to whom i'm nothing more than another person, i'll be called she/her. Does these sort of things offend people in America? Genuine question, just trying to understand things a little better
