I'm African American and I'm noticing a pattern. It seems like when JUST One African American comes to Africa it builds a bridge for other African Americans to muster up the courage to also visit. I watched a young African American girl on Wode Maya channel that moved to Ghana and set up a Jamaican food truck and she said so many of her friends are now on there way to visit. Now this beautiful African American woman says since she has moved to Ghana over 600 African American people have visited. Lesson here is just ONE of us needs to get up the courage and we can be a bridge a leader for others to follow 😊💗💖

But, I lost contact of following him because my phone broke and as soon I got another phone recently, I started following him again. Wode is our Black African countries' favorite son and KZreadr. He covers almost every angle of African countries. He is NOT a selfish young person at all. He cares so much about African countries and African people.

There are a lot of good African Americans doing great work like her in Ghana. Ghana we need to appreciate and celebrate them named streets after them. Thank you sis. I hope someone one will show this to the Asantehene ( The King of Asante's) and please Otumfour honor this great woman publicly.

Konkonbishl, I agree with you that they must create a 'African Diaspora Award' and give that award on most important day like Independence day. That will help the Africans to familiarize themselves with expats and also encourage successful expats to travel to Africa to share their education, businesses and wealth.

My wife and I are moving to GHANA from the US next year to settle. I'm a Ghanaian who's lived in the US for the past 34 years and I see that the time to come home is now. This sista is a gem. May the Lord continue to bless her and the children. That place looks immaculate. What a lady. Just love her heart. Plus I must fail to add that sharing a tooth brush shows the level of brainwashing that went on back in the day. The traditional African way of oral care or taking care of your teeth was through chewing what we called "chewing stick" or a particular plant based sponge. This allowed our ancestors to live into their 90s with all their teeth and without ever having sat in a dentists chair. We sometimes dibbed the chewing stick into charcoal to whiten our teeth. Brainwashing got us to abandon the chewing stick and fall on toothbrushes and toothpastes. Poor families who could not afford multiple brushes resorted to sharing instead of going back to our ancestral oral care ways. Coincidentally an article published recently showed that chewing is the best way to have stronger teeth and gum. Go figure.

Wow every African out there should be part of the solution and not the problem. This is very inspiring and brings to light 💡 why people should not partake in the negativity. Rather than using your camera 🎥 to shoot negative stories, talk about poor conditions, mosquitoes 🦟 in Ghana 🇬🇭 or Africa, the poverty, no snacks etc why not be part of fixing the problem. The resilience we share will bring us to a place where we become part of resolving the problems we encounter. Thanks for sharing such an uplifting message. This video proves my point that we do not understand each other’s struggles. We were never thought 💭 about our history in detail. So before you say anything please make sure you fully understand what you are saying. Let us allow each and everyone to have their own experience and tell their own story. Don’t paint a picture for them to deprive them away from the African experience. A lot of KZread channels need to learn this and not paint a picture for others. Thanks to Wode Maya for such amazing 🤩 works and always staying true to the African continent; showing the positive sides of Africa to the world 🌍.
