    Thank you so much for recognizing Michael Collins. His role was so vital, but it was also terrifying. Aboard the command module, while orbiting the moon, there would a period of communication blackout, and he would be TOTALLY alone because he couldn't even contact the people back in Earth.

    There are plenty of books out there, Area 51 by Annie Jacobson is a good one, explains a little bit about the lunar landing and Wernher von Braun. It's actually very interesting and makes sense as to why alot of people don't trust the governments.

    Michael Collins was at one point the loneliest man ever. He was in a communication blackout when orbiting the other side of the moon and was all alone.

    I respect all those astronauts who had did their best in making a Successful Launch towards NASA effort, even they had to face the challenging onto the Soviet Space Station ( I am not saying their bad) but it took time to study and understand the surroundings of space, which we all don’t know what could be beyond the universe. Wether it is risking or challenging, It is all about Space!

    "Won the space race" isn't correct. Soviets won the race to the space when Yuri Gagarin left the Earth's atmosphere. Americans only won the "moon race" to the moon.

    @@haouribi it is in fact not Here is the definition for you: The Space Race was a competition of space exploration between the United States of America and Soviet Union, which lasted roughly from 1957 to 1975. It involved the efforts to explore outer space with artificial satellites, to send humans into space, and to land people on the Moon. While calling the moon landing a part of space race is correct, the initial goal was to bring a human into the outer space On the other had, the video is calling it a "win" which is absolutely not correct considering that soviets were first to launch the satellite AND first to launch a human into space only having not sent a human to the moon, which happened years after Yuri Gagarin got into space
