De Paul is the only other midfielder who's above him in the Argentine hierarchy and it's deserved. De Paul won the Copa America and WC with 2 different midfields. De Paul however sometimes needs a game or 2 to settle in.

@@sushipizza4439 De Paul and Mac have a ton of similarities that get masked by their different "intensity" when they play. They're both good in possession and are creative but De Paul is a shithouser and intense while Mac is the cool and collected one. De Paul is only hitting 30, players these days reach late 30s rather than not and he's not frail.

I can't speak highly enough of Mac Allister he is a unbelievable player and is only going to get better! Its just his first season at one of the biggest clubs in the world and he is already one of Liverpools best and most important players. Mac Allister makes everyone around him better and that makes him a very special player👏🏽

I hope once klopp leaves the club continue to sign versatile players that can play in multiple positions and continue to bring in winners

No ball knowledge. Just like when Thiago was playing as a lone 6 in the season which we had lost all our CBs and had a really bad run. He's always picked by media and fans as the scapegoat.

Macca and Endo have really been the best signings this season...

Great insight on a world class player.

What is even crazier is that almost all our good players this season were seen as average before. Klopp really made them shine. Kelleher is now a monumental keeper. Quansah, solid in defence. Gomez plays as fullback on both sides and also had a go at CDM and he is solid. Jones was seen as the midfield distributor and now that he is injured Klopp knows how to make Macca take on that role. Endo too. Bradley came out of nowhere and is awesome. The list can go on and on and sure, they are all good players but without Klopp I feel we would not be having this conversation. Hope Gravenberch comes back strong too. Both he and Szoboszlai need a bit more fitness to be able to cope with PL physicality, I think.

He's settled in nicely now. For the first few months he was trying nearly too hard, forcing passes. Everything seemed to be slightly off. But the rhythm came and now he's fully integrated, his confidence is soaring. In the #8 he's a magnificent addition.

Little do people realise. Macca playing DM for his first few matches for LFC. Was just a training phase for him to hone his game defensive wise . A statement the man himself admitted in an interview, saying that his improvement, defensive wise is one of the things he's learned from Klopp. Ps-I know you butchered Boyoko Saka for the sake of comments. it’s not crazy that he’s found his best role it’s just we used him as a short term solution to our dm problem cus out of him, curtis and szob he was the best defensively. Now he’s playing in his natural position and he’s thriving as expected. Hate to be negative but it’s not like he was a dm at brighton and we discovered his attacking ability, he even played as a 10 at brighton at points

To be fair all four midfielders that have come in have been decent, just gravenberch hasn't got as much game time due to Jones, Mac, endo all being at the top of their games.

@@mfromspace he started in the final against Chelsea. With the injuries to the other midfield players he would have had more minutes but he got injured himself. But yes I agree with you he won't start over dom and mac. But Liverpool play in a way that the midfield players will get rotation so it's not a problem and a good thing to have the numbers.

Macca was always going 2 perform better in an 8 or 10 role than a lone 6. LIV fans know their football. They were calling Klopp out for misusing Macca ... almost from day 1. Kloppo deserves kudos for listening and recognizing it was an error to put Macca as a lone 6. The same issue exists with Gakpo .. who is clearly a natural, borne LW. Due to injuries he's been forced to play gakpo at a variety of other positions. This will all rsolve itself over time. LIV will bring in a RW replacement for Mo this summer. Maybe two if he's sold. That will leave us with 2 legit LWs (lucho + gakpo ) , CFs ( Nunez and Jota), and RWs ( Mo + ?, or ? + ?). I think one of those 2 RWs will b Dom and/or Danns. Midfield is done and a lock so long as Bajcetic is healthy. The CB position needs 1-2 more "1st team worthy" additions to basically make this team ultra deep and virtually injury proof". Sepp VDB is having a great season. He may b part of the final solution.

Have been arguing with a delusional Manc who insists that Bruno is so much better than Mac Allister it’s insulting to even compare them. Mind you, the same guy thinks Hojkund is vastly superior to Darwin so I think it’s just a case of someone being too blinded by tribalism to think straight.
