How Accurate is RTK with Your Drone?

Real Time Kinematics or RTK are a mystery to most people. Well, it’s basically GPS on steroids. It gives you more accurate and stable flights, with centimeter level accuracy. In this video, we test out the accuracy of the RTK on the DJI Mavic 3 Thermal, using a ground target and the Return to Home function.

My mini 4 Pro with precision landing does just sbout as well as RTK does.

Impressive!! RTK is seriously no joke, it helps a lot when we are operating drones anywhere, like riverside or seaside, or woods, we could crash it much easier without the RTK. Thank you for the video!
Great video but I'm still slightly confused. I have the same exact set up. I have a great rtk signal through the state NTRIP service. Do I need gcps for "survey grade" maps. Or will my accuracy be improved with gcps? Thanks Joe A.

What a great way to compare RTK vs no RTK relative accuracy. Without RTK, did you make sure to hover at 5 feet to allow the drone to establish or lock the location?

Thank you! Yes, I made sure GPS was locked and homepoint set before each flight.
Did you try the same with ntrip provider ? Will test it with mine ASAP.
