August I am one of the 10% a 68 year old woman who has never climbed a tree let alone felled one! Why do I follow you? A) it's something totally out of my experience B) i like to watch experts at keep g work. (I watch Robby Layton paint spraying car bodies and marvel at his skill just as I do you) C) I find your philosophising interesting, relevant and thought provoking. Also I love all the guys, you have a great team there! Keep plowing your own furrow! Julia

Your explaining how and why you do things is so interesting and your character is admirable. It is wonderful to find a good person who loves the Lord, his family, his team and his audience. Sorry to say that there are very few who do the same these days. Go on going on.

So thankful for what I have learned from you my tree game has advanced past the guys who have done it longer than me. They now ask me questions about how a tree should come down. Also just making my customer happier in the end. I have mad respect for you guys. Don't change a thing. Keep up the good work!!

Can we just stop for a minute and appreciate all the knowledge and skill that came together at 20:29 - 20:36!? There’s a lot of videos out there of what happens when guys who don’t possess that skill set try to cut down trees… but August doesn’t even brush any of the fences! Well done as always sir! Also, thanks for the stump explanation.

Crane work is fine. Being a old ladder platform operator. It makes me think of angles / weight load like I use to do when working a fire. Doing tree work is a lot different. I also had to worry about getting water on the fire. Friction losses in hose / elevation etc. You have to worry about total load etc. Hope the crew / family and you have a nice Memorial Day weekend. Take care, Be safe and God Bless. PS I might take my old WW2 US Army rifle out of the safe. Fire a few rounds at the local target range. Guessing it will be only a couple cows and myself there.

I am a new tree service I started my own company last year coming off of working offshore in oil and gas doing everything from being a commercial diver to drilling and rov work. I watch all your videos and often listen while doing tree work if I can pick up just one tip or trick on each video im more than happy and getting more than my times worth. I appreciate the other aspects between flying and family because it shows and shares the balance you have. I'm getting going and building my business and can thank you, buckin, guilty of tree son and many more for all the knowledge and help you have given me. I hope to be on your level one day. Stay safe and keep being awesome and putting out amazing content.

When I saw the title, I was thinking someone had asked you to take down their tree in exchange for lumber or firewood! See ads for that sometimes, 120ft conifer wedged between my house and the neighbor's house, nearest vehicle access is 1/4 mile away, if someone takes it down for free they can have the firewood. Must dispose of brush as well, must be licensed, bonded, insured. They're living in fantasy land.

One more, then I'll jet... I do enjoy, the tapestry of life, that comes out through these videos, of shared life, experiences, thoughts, ideas, experience... the richness, and complexity, along with the tedious, mundane, simplicity - because, it's never really, all one, or the other... like the grooves and bumps, in an old-timey, vinyl record... you've got to ride in the track, to get the progression, and the moving sound, that's what brings the inspiration, to tap your foot, sway with the way, and really get the feeling, for what's taking/taken, place - the tree-work and people (especially, the people) - it's all, part of the groove (and flying, running out of gas, etc). Keep on 'rock'n' it. Cheers-

Howdy there August, I know this has already been asked, but I’m gonna throw my vote into the hat for a video discussing bidding and estimates as well. I’m trying to get a tree business up and running, but only have a utility trailer for hauling, so it’s from the ground up. It would be great to hear your thoughts on what steps to take in the process of starting a business, such as what insurance to get, acquiring an LLC, getting licensed, and when to make certain purchases of equipment, etc. Forever in debt to you for what you’ve taught me over the years of watching, things that may have saved my life and I didn’t even know it. Oh wait, no, I hate it haha it’s your channel so do with it whatever you want, but I (like many others here) enjoy your content hence why we subscribed. I feel like addressing the negativity gives those haters a little win for the day.. when in reality they don’t deserve to win, because they’re losers, and will never actually be happy no matter what you do. Point out some of the positivity instead? Ignore the haters. I hope you don’t actually read this, and if you do, please don’t waste time addressing it in another video lol

18:17 I know what you’re talking about. I’m glad people voluntarily helped you out. That’s a good community. Some things made their way back too if I’m not mistaken.

Ordered the MB suspenders last week, nice quick response from Evan, even a thank you for the order…..something so lost in todays “climate” Don’t change the direction, unless you see fit, consumers have choices. Cheers from Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada

I love your channel!! Few things 1.) I love when you or Damien say “Hello KZread!” And then Adam said it today. Very funny. 2.) love when you talk to the camera after it takes a trip out of the tree or a tree falls on top of it. 3.) where did Damien get the Monster Tree hoodie? There is a Monster Tree in New Milford, CT. Peace guys.
