Ivan is a very hard-working and responsible young man. One can only surmise that he has been very well raised by his parents. Anyone that has ever planted potatoes can relate to the amount of work it took to turn this field by hand! WOW! This is the first time for me visiting this channel, and my thought was, "How interesting can it be to watch a young guy farm?" But then I couldn't help but watch the entire video. I actually found it fascinating...and the puppy is just too cute.

I am pleasantly surprised when watching this video. It reminded me of when I was a child and even my adolescence. We lived with my grandparents on their property. There was a farm and a lot of land. We all helped on the farm and also to maintain the land. My grandmother had a garden that, with the help of my mother, provided for both families and a little more as well. We had fruit trees that gave abundant production which was used to make sweets that were consumed in the winter. It was a nice life, somewhat sacrificed but we were happy. These are things that have been somewhat lost today. I admire Ivan who works for a future and to maintain what he has. Excellent boy.

This was great! Ivan was working so damn hard I got off my sofa (I watch YT on TV) and decided to clean up and be productive. Very easy on the eyes to say the least.

@@Azureecosse well, I don’t have to plant my own food to eat, I don’t have to keep a cow for milk I don’t have drink water from a hole in the ground or a stream. Anything I want I available whenever I want it and I am looked after medically for free for the entirety of my life. I would say that’s pretty luxurious.

It's amazing you could own and operate that house and farm with so few animals. It's certainly a completely different economic model than an American or Canadian farm.

That is a lot of potatoes, but they will be great eating in the winter! I grew up on a farm and remember planting and harvesting. We had a root cellar. We had a big garden, also raised cows and had chickens. My Mother’s Family came to the United States in 1912 from Ukraine, I am 2nd generation here. It is so beautiful where you live!

That's about the same time my family immigrated to the US from East Slovakia and Western Ukraine, they settled in Western Pennsylvania and have a little farm there too, I live within walking distance.

This life reminds me very much of where my Oma lived in a small village of Bavaria. Town of Radldorf. My mother was born there in 1932 and grew up during the Nazi regime amidst unspeakable hardships. She married my dad who was in the U.S. Army. He had several more tours to Germany and that's how I remember it. It was worse there. They didn't have plumbing, only a well that had the most refreshing ice cold water. Best wishes from Killeen, Texas.

Boys in the US USED to do this back before the industrial revolution when we were primarily an agricultural community. Today when boys work on a farm they use heated and air conditioned combines with stereos and nice comfy seats that cost $200,000 or more!

From USA - I really ebjoy seeing these vids because it shows how people live in another part of the world. With so much bad things happening in the Russian and Ukraine areas, it helps to remember yhat people there are really no differet than here in the States. I admire how there is a strong family structure where everyone works together. Here everyone is so invested in doing their own thing and sort of detatched from the whole family. So sad that the media gives us a negative view and idea about the people and all because of government and Putins pursuit of greed and desire that has hurt so many people and impacted so many. In the end we are all not so different and more alike than we sometimes realize. I hope that in the near future they see and experience peace and calm.
